This is a rather unremarkable article, until the end:

The implications are clear: regardless of the content of the transcripts, Clinton’s activities — especially during the first two months of 2015 — leading up to her announcement leave no doubt that she had been planning to run for president for months, if not years.

Uhh, what tipped you off that she'd been planning this for so long? Perhaps the fact that she already ran in 2004? This is some lazy ass "journalism" for sure.

I recently saw someone on TV talking about Donald Trump say that he hadn't shown much interest in politics before. You know, except all the times he'd already threatened to run for president and the whole birther movement he started! What a short memory some people have.

I know better than to make a political post, but this really baffles me. Ted Cruz cannot possibly get the Republican nomination so why the hell is he naming a vice president (I'd say running mate but since he won't be running after the convention, she's not really a running mate). And of all people to pick, why Carly Fiorina? She's probably even less well like than Cruz. We'll likely never know, but my guess is she wasn't Cruz's first choice.

Settlements like this really irk me.

The city of Cleveland has agreed to pay Tamir Rice's family $6 million to settle a federal lawsuit...

The City of Cleveland means the taxpayers of Cleveland, who did nothing wrong. I'm sure the officers who murdered Rice don't have $6 million, not that they're being held personally accountable anyway.

So what is the solution? Should the family get nothing? Should the officers pay whatever they have? Because it certainly isn't fair to the tax payers of Cleveland to have to foot the bill for the crimes of the police department. I wonder if a tax payer could sue the officers directly over this.

Look... I don't like that Oreos will be made in Mexico now. Americans lose jobs and the CEO gets a raise? That's some world class bullshit.

But... sharing images like this about it is NOT a protest. The Oreo people aren't watching Google+ (or Facebook or any other site) to see  how many times this is shared. Never going to be said: "Wow, 40,000 people shared that image so I guess we should change our plans and rescind that raise for the CEO".

If you're actually passionate about this, stop buying Oreos and mail them a letter. No, not email. No, not a post on Facebook or Twitter. A letter, on paper, with a stamp. Armchair activism isn't activism at all.

Sharing this won't do anything except perhaps make you feel better and less complacent. What am I going to do? Nothing. I'm just not that passionate about manufacturing jobs and I... more »

I'd love to see a President Sanders if he can get even a fraction of his agenda through. I'm going to vote for him in California's primary. If he miraculously becomes the nominee, I will vote for him in the general election as well. If Clinton wins the nomination, which seems all but ensured, I will vote for her in the general election.

I look at this logically. Either a Democrat or a Republican is going to win. No third-party candidate will win. No write-in candidate will win.

Trump is abhorred. There is nothing redeeming about him to vote for him over Clinton. Kasich is very much anti-women. I can't in good conscience vote for that. Cruz wants to send us back 50 to 100 years. Oh, and a flat tax. No thanks to any of them!

I need to vote for Clinton to keep Republicans out of office. It's that simple. But I do hope I get to vote for Sanders.___

I'm going to take this at-home urine-based drug screen. Which, if any, do you think I'll test positive for. The options are

COC - Cocine, crack.
THC - Marijuana, hash.
OPI - Opiates, oxycontin, heroin.
AMP - Amphetamines,, Wellbutrin.
mAMP - Methamphetamine, Crystal meth, meth.
PCP -
Phencyclidine usually just called PCP.
BZO - Benzodiazepines, ativan, xanax, valium, and more.
BAR  Barbiturates drugs ending with -barbital.
MTD - Methadone
MDMA - Ecstacy.

How many of these am I going to test positive for, and which will they be?

I haven't weighed myself in quite a while. But I just weighed myself and I've held on to my "ideal" weight for about a year now. I'm pretty happy about that, especially because I eat whatever I want. I don't count calories or turn down something because it's not on my "diet". But a lot of times I'll drink an Ensure instead of having a junk food snack. An Ensure has 8 grams of protein and no fat which is certainly better than eating a bag of chips or a piece of cake. But when I want chips or cake I'll have that. Today for lunch I had a double-double animal style + bacon, fries and a large milkshake.

I keep seeing a commercial for the Toyota Prius where some criminals are outrunning cops in a Prius and the media and public fall in love with the criminals and the Prius.

I'm curious what the focus group Toyota hired thought of this ad because it absolutely doesn't give me warm fuzzies about the Prius. I'm not particularly fond of criminals and I'm even less fond of criminals outrunning police and being turned into folk heroes by the media.

The other day I heard Donald Trump advocate for private, for-profit, prisons. He's also against Marijuana legalization and claims he's hearing bad things out of Colorado about it. Recently it came out that Nixon's war on drugs was really a proxy war on blacks and hippies. With that in mind it's no wonder Trump wants to continue the war on drugs. Trump's plan is to jail blacks on trumped-up drug charges in his for-profit prisons, then get Mexico to pay for these slaves to build his wall.

If Germany had won the war and Goebbels had invented the vacuum, the British would be Goebbeling up the dust instead of Hoovering up the dust.

Speaking of vacuums, before there were any, there was no such thing as wall-to-wall carpet. Houses had wood floors with area rugs. When the area rugs got dirty you took them outside to beat them clean. Then Hoover (not Goebbels) invented the vacuum and we were able to vacuum our rugs in place. Then someone got the great idea for wall-to-wall carpet since cleaning was no longer an issue. Then we realized how disgusting carpet were. There was no easy way to clean up spilled liquids and the carpet acted as a sponge for whatever nasty smells and other gunk was in the air. So we went back to hard wood floors and area rugs. Wall-to-wall carpet was an unnecessary detour created by technology.

I've added "Hospitality Services" to my Airbnb which amounts to offering local food pick-up and delivery for $10. I know there's an app for that but I'm offering a more personal service and my driver will go to any restaurant or store that's close enough. I've included photos of my "Hospitality Services" binder. I'll be getting menus for as many local restaurants as I can find—and that'll be dozens of restaurants in the end.

I also changed my hours. My check-in time used to be 3pm and my check-out was 12pm, noon. Now I have it set to block the day before and after a stay. If I guest books a Friday - Sunday stay, Thursday and Monday will be blocked. By doing this I'm able to offer much more flexible hours. My new check-in time is 11am and my check-out time is 3pm.

I watched Tremors last night. I'm not much of a Kevin Bacon fan, but I Tremors is hilarious. There are a couple of things I didn't realize about Tremors. It's more than 25 years old! Watching it now, it doesn't feel that old, except that Kevin Bacon looks so young. I also didn't realize they made five of them. The fifth came out last year. I've only seen 1 & 2; I didn't even know there were three let alone five. The others, 2 - 5, seems to be video only. I'll watch those this week. Kevin Bacon was only in the first, so I'm thinking the others won't be as good. I shall see!

It's 4am and my Amazon Echo just said, out of the blue, "Just so you know, your Echo received an update and needs to restart. It will be ready to use in a few minutes." I assume that had it been quiet in here (I'm watching The Larry Sanders Show) it either would have restarted without announcing it, or it would have waited until it heard noise to announce it. I certainly hope that's the case. If I were asleep and it started talking it really would have irritated me. Most noise doesn't wake me, but someone talking does.

I certainly hope that's the case. If I were asleep and it started talking it really would have irritated me. Most noise doesn't wake me, but someone talking does.___

At least the kid was honest, but he couldn't really have thought I'd rent so he can have "spring break" with his friends. And I'm guessing by the looks of this guy and that he's coming from the city next to mine, spring break means hookers and alcohol.

Ever notice how after a terrorist attack we pray for that country and it never gets terrorist attacked again? Well I'm pre-praying for all countries. Terrorism solved!

FAQ:

Q: Does this really work?
A: Yes! Absolutely. No country that has been prayed for is ever terrorist attacked again.

Q: How does this work?
A: God only protects countries that have been internet prayed for. By sharing this image god knows not to let terrorists attack the country/ies listed.

Q: I shared this then [insert-country-here] was terrorist attacked. What gives, god?
A: It's possible god was busy counting likes to see if he can save that girl from cancer and didn't see your prayer. Reshare/reprayer again.

Q: What if my country isn't listed?
A: God will have it terrorist attacked, sorry.

Q: What if I/my country doesn't believe in god?
A: It will be terrorist attacked, sorry.

Q: Are nine candles really enough to pray for every country?
A: It's actually 333 candles, which is way more than enough.

Q: Why doesn't god just stop all terrorist attacks?
A: God is very busy picking winners and losers in high school football games based on the strength of each team's prayers. Sometimes he needs to be reminded about the terrorists.

Notice how we pray for a place after it's attacked and somehow the attack isn't undone? Im going to start praying for every country ahead of time and as long as no where gets attacked we know prayer works.

My continued discipline continues to pay off! Back in January I shared with you how I trashed my credit when I was 19 with the help of CompUSA. Read that cautionary tale here: http://dibar.nu/p/XX3LYPuTvhR

Since that post I've applied for, and been approved for more credit. Which I've been using sparingly. Friday I was once again rewarded, when Wells Fargo increased my $1000 limit to $1400.

I don't keep track of my credit online like many people. I do it all on this one laminated card which I updated today to reflect my new spending limit. I find it easier to manage my credit when I have something physical

Skittles (and M&Ms except I don't really care for chocolate) should make an OCD edition where the bag contains an equal number of each color. Perhaps they could even put each color in its own smaller bag inside the big bag. I think i'll go suggest this to them on Facebook and see what they say.
