How many people and places have resources that would make them so successful at certain things but they waste them or use them for the wrong purposes.
This is the story of the failure of many countries. This is the story of the failure of many companies. This is the story of the failure of my careers. And the list goes on. So many times in a situation the things are there that are needed but they are just used on something else that is fruitless.
Its really just people wasting things. Sometimes its not what you have its the #management behind it that matters....actually almost all the time.

Opportunity for Treason!
So the interesting thing about a Jarvis Virus or an ADA Refactor is that each #ingress object can be used by an agent of either faction.
So while a Jarvis Virus is normally used by an Enlightened agent to flip a Resistance Portal to the Enlightened, in theory, the virus could be used by a Resistance agent to do the same.
A Resistance agent faces an interesting moral dilemma if they find themselves in the possession of a Jarvis Virus. Should they Recycle and destroy it right away to keep such dangerous tech out of the hands of the Enlightened? Or should they keep it as a potential bargaining chip? Would it be a betrayal to trade the object to an Enlightened agent in exchange for other goods?
An ADA Refactor can only be used to flip an Enlightened Portal to the Resistance. What should an Enlightened agent do if they obtain one?

Suggestions about the new Google plus
As the hangout about #newgoogleplus is scheduled to fit only America, and I'm in Europe, I write here my problems, questions, suggestions to +Google+ people.
1) The stream is no longer a stream, as it does not flow. We have to keep on clicking on the blue advise to open the dam and get the new posts. And even then, if there are more than, let's say, 20 posts, you don't get them all. How can I get my flowing stream back?
2) Text, both in posts and comments, gets cut ridiculously short. It's very hard to read anything having to click on more so much. Give as more text!
3) When clicking on the red notifications square we can see new comments, but it's very hard to read them. I get three nested scroll bars: the page one, the notifications one and the comments one. Unify ... more »

Hey all, I help run +chewelah community and youth foundation We run local 'Game Nites' open to the public with an emphasis/focus on helping Youth 1st, then Families.
We feed the youth, give them good safe activities to keep them off the streets, tutor them, mentor them etc.
We're experiencing explosive growth and soon will be State Registered as a "Non-Profit".
Once that happens, we want to expand our very small donor pool [we had 100 kids this past friday, all fed, we run 2x a week, Wed we average 50, Fri we average 85. That costs a LOT, we have one principal donor plus 2 minor ones]
We are looking for tips on how to expand our donor pool. Business, civic groups and private individuals would be nice, but how?

I tried them both today, but didn't hear ANYTHING! for AO-7 I put my Kenwood TS2000 in to "Satellite" mode ... after some tinkering I got it to the right frequency's and scrolled up and down with no luck.
For SO-50, I had one channel on 2m, the other on 440 ... both in FM, turned the rx dial and nothing ...
For 2m I have a good j-Pole ... I do mean GOOD! As in Simplex over 60 miles away on low wattage. For 440, I have a decent home brew 5 element yagi.
Any tips? Pointers? Howtos?

Could use some help with this. I want to work an Amateur Radio Satellite but so far, all I've done is FAIL!
I have a Kenwood TS2000 so I have a Satellite mode, I've tried SO50 and AO7 [so50 is an FM mode, ao7 is transponder/ssb mode]
for 2m I have a good jpole, for 440 a decent home brew 5 ele yagi. any suggestions on HOW to make this happen?
I'm in DN18 btw [my ham friends can figure out where I am]

We wanted to share some from this past week about +chewelah community and youth foundation So here we go ...
Wednesday was hard. We had some harsh criticism levelled at us. Some was inaccurate to say the least, all discouraged us some.
Then, we got our resolve back ... we showed our tenacity in keeping up with our hard job. [Reaching out to those who need help in our community, regardless of who they are or where they are. We focus first on the youth, then the entire family ... it gets messy to say the least, and paints a target on us for sure]
Then came Friday, we had it set that we had a team of guest cooks [from a church one town to the north of us] and honestly, we had a fear it wouldn't go well.

Now that we know a GOP congressional aide misleadingly edited — intentionally or not — Obama administration emails on the Benghazi attack, one wonders if he or she will face repercussions. There’s some precedent here. Former GOP Rep. Dan Burton used to hold Darrell Issa’s job as Chairman of the House Oversight Committee and used it to aggressively go after Bill Clinton on a host of controversies of various degrees of merit, much as Issa is doing now.
In 1998, as Burton was investigating alleged campaign finance violations from Clinton’s 1996 reelection campaign, his office released a doctored transcript of an audiotape of a former Clinton aide. Burton’s top aide took the blame for the deception and resigned, as the New York Times reported on May 7, 1998:

Affordable Care Act Medicaid Expansion (as of May 2013)
This is the most up-to-date Medicaid Expansion map. Under the Affordable Care Act, individuals making less than $14,856, 2-person households making less than $20,123, 3-person households making less than $25,390, 4-person households making less than $30,657, 5-person households making less than $35,923, and 6-person households making less than $41,190 per year will receive free healthcare (Medicaid) if they live in one of the blue states on this map. If you live in a red state and qualify, you will not receive free healthcare, but you will be exempt from having to purchase health insurance if you don't already have it.
