Please help me fill in the gaps of those I have missed or those that I don't know about.+1 this post to be included in the shared circle.Oh! and here is a recording +Connor Turland took of +Arthur Brock explaining the program's 8-week outline.http://goo.gl/Rn9NA  #EMLeaders        #RAJB   #sharedcircles  2013-06-21 02:50:3826102CC G+

Ian Herndon8,223Shared Circle Time! - G+ Community Moderators & Owners (5 of x)Re-Share to help moderators easily connect with one another! Now that Google has launched Communities there has been a ton of activity by people to create communities relating to their interests, join ones created by others, and meet other creators in an effort to learn more and more new ways to build and contribute to G+ Communities. +Community Moderators is an example of a page/community dedicated specifically to having a single place where all moderators can join in discussion around just that.I have been hard at work creating Circles that consist of Community Moderators and Owners only. My hope is to be able to help others expand their network of friends to also include like minded people dabbling in the Community space too. In the near future I intend to eventually group these moderator circles into smaller more targeted ones tailored to specific interests. So with that said, here's our circles!G+ Community Moderators & Owners Circle (1 of x) - 12/31/2012https://plus.google.com/u/0/110099838681495349209/posts/ETe6deLAMq2G+ Community Moderators & Owners Circle (2 of x) - 12/31/2012https://plus.google.com/u/0/110099838681495349209/posts/7i2DXeQpknnG+ Community Moderators & Owners Circle (3 of x) - 12/31/2012https://plus.google.com/u/0/110099838681495349209/posts/j1rsi9YGGVgG+ Community Moderators & Owners Circle (4 of x) - 1/12/2013https://plus.google.com/u/0/110099838681495349209/posts/VFUjZcifXPQG+ Community Moderators & Owners Circle (5 of x) - 1/12/2013https://plus.google.com/u/0/110099838681495349209/posts/LpiNK8BmKnN#Community     #Moderators     #Owners     #Communities     #Circle   #SharedCircles     #CircleShare2013-01-12 16:30:19500303CC G+
John Kellden7,662Here's a few people who are not too shabby.I will spend a week in Greece with wife and kids. Have promised not to bring laptop, and not cheat too much with the G+ mobile thing either. This means you will have to wander aimlessly through the Google Plus Ghosttown while I'm working my tan, enjoying food and wine and sploshing about in the pool. But have no fear, quality content and even higher quality conversation is just a few clicks away, even if you only add a few of the people in the below circle. You all behave now, and talk more in a week.2012-06-18 09:24:0950043238CC G+
Alex Diaz (alexdiazeco)2,406I call this one IdeasThat's how interesting these folks are to engage with. As with the green circle I just shared, this one's bigger than 500 so not everyone is here. And just as with the greenies, let us know if you think you should be in it. The common denominator here is interesting content of no particular bent. Just plain fascinating. I can sit and go through this stream all day. Great people one and all.2012-04-07 19:19:005002234CC G+
John Kellden4,179The Moneyball TeamGoogle+ Visionaries, take 2An update of the circle I previously shared. I've removed most of the big hitters.I figured they're in the ten thousand range or more and will survive being cut. Will share them in a new circle in the not too distant future. I also removed some Google Pages. This is the Moneyball Team of Google+. And I mean that as the highest possible praise.#sharedcircles #sharedcircle #circleshare2012-03-19 13:04:39500648CC G+
John Kellden4,179Google+ VisionariesThese 365 people are mandatory to interact with. I suggest you set aside a moment each day for each one in this circle. Which is why I've added 365 people. Seriously, do.Ok, so it's not humanly possible to do that. Think of it as a Google+ smorgasbord of awesome people then.As with my previously shared link of 500 Great Google Plus People, I've looked at these people from a number of different angles. They passed with flying colours. :)#sharedcircles #sharedcircle #circleshare2012-03-19 11:09:54365231829CC G+
John Kellden4,057Great Google Plus PeopleWorth Waiting For. I've thrown every heuristic and the kitchen sink into this, pondering from a great many angles, with the intention of creating a shared circle that is nothing other than mindblowing. You won't get instant fame, fortune and world peace by interacting with this bunch of people, but pretty damn close. This is like an online portable, accessible, interactive Chautauqua. And then some. Enjoy!2012-03-17 15:45:4949913914CC G+
Glenn Wallis0I am delighted and honoured to have been included in this circle from +Gideon Rosenblatt of people on Google+ who have currently under 2000 followers but who "write and share interesting content. Please feel free to share if you think others in your circle would benefit from some of the people in this circle. (I would recommend you add +Gideon Rosenblatt too !!)2012-03-12 21:15:05113313CC G+
Gideon Rosenblatt7,757Under 2K, Interesting, Original People CircleLooking for some new voices? People who share good content, but who don't have huge circles of people already following them? People in this circle:* have less than 2,000 people circling them* have interesting and original insights and content they share publicly* engage others in civil, respectful ways that build communityI spent a bunch of time curating this circle to try to make sure the people in it meet the above criteria. This is a good group of folks. My goal in sharing this circle is to help give some interesting people a bit more visibility here on Google+. I think it's important that we bake that kind of opportunity into the culture of this network. If people work hard to share good content and engage well with others, they deserve a chance to get recognized. +Liz ℚuilty did something like this for me when I was just getting started, and this is my way of passing the torch. I want to note that I failed in one of my original goals for this circle, which was to build a diverse group of people. My existing network here on G+ just couldn't get me there for this circle share, so that's something I will be working on addressing for future circles. In the mean time, since I'm not including myself in this circle (because I fail the first criterion), I'm going to be a bit more direct in my call to action. If you like the criteria for this circle and you agree with its goals, then please, add this circle and re-share it publicly. Thank you in advance for your help.2012-03-12 13:57:13114928869CC G+

I like to watch YouTube vids while working out on my exercise bike. Since YouTube's algorithms are getting as good at suggesting vids for me as Amazon does with books, usually I graze its recommendations page before jumping on my bike. That's how I discovered the "Data, Storytelling and Narratives" conversation between +John Kellden and +David Amerland.

At 5:43 David is talking about the connectivity factor as amplification factor. Doing so, he is brilliantly describing also one of the key insights that happens to drive my research on shared mindfulness. What is obvious is that the more connected a person, a thought, a video is, the broader its reach. What is less obvious is the transpersonal dimension of the  amplification factor.

In the very same act of one's ideas reaching a wider audience, something else is happening, too, at the same time.Through thebilli... more »

Return to Eden? Promises and Perils on the Road to an Omnipotent Global Intelligence

New paper by Francis Heylighen, Global Brain Institute

The concept of Singularity envisages a technology-driven explosion in intelligence. This paper argues that the resulting suprahuman intelligence will not be centralized in a single AI system, but distributed across all people and artifacts, as connected via the Internet. This “global brain” will function to tackle all challenges confronting the “global superorganism”. Its capabilities will extend so far beyond our present abilities that they are best conveyed as a pragmatic version of the “divine” attributes: omniscience (knowing everything needed to solve our problems), omnipresence (being available anywhere anytime), omnipotence (being able to provide any product or service at negligible cost) andomnibenevol... more »

This is an excellent way of weaving together McKenna's work with Spiral Dynamics!

The way I see and experience it, the task of people at the Integrative altitude (stage 7) include to facilitate the the change process of all previous stages. That's true for the Neo-Tribal altitude too, but the highest evolutionary impact comes from supporting the Integratives.

A typical fallacy that I see many many people falling for is being at the Humanistic altitude and believing that they are Neo-Tribal. That's because Humanists too can be "are focused on intuitive feeling rather than knowing, who insist on cooperation and trust and who are mindful of long-term sustainability at a planetary level."

The litmus test of true Neo-Tribals is whether their behavior demonstrates that they have gone through the Integrative stage, by  building new systems that make the olds... more »
