#1 Rename files faster

When you’ve got a lot of files to rename it can be a bit tedious as well as slow going from your keyboard to your mouse between each file.
Instead, after you’ve typed a name for the first file,, simply click the ‘Tab’ key on your keyboard.
This will take you straight to the next file, ready for you to type in a name

Can't believe this one! Have to pay extra for a film you bought if you want the digital version as well!!
Do they think we're stupid? Seriously if I buy a movie, it is mine, why should I pay extra if I want to watch it on a different device? AS.IF

They really didn't learn from DRM did they... I tend to think this is one reason, not the only one, why people started downloading music illegally, because illegal music didn't have restrictions and you could play on whatever device you wanted. If someone buys something they don't want restrictions, and rightly so. It should be theirs to play wherever they choose.
Thank goodness the music industry finally got themselves together a while back, but now the film industry is starting out in the same ridiculous way.

Does anyone use speech recognition on windows?
I know, I know it's a bit of a random thing to bring up after it's been out so long but seems like voice recognition is more popular than before what with Kinect and Android etc. so I've been kinda wanting to join in "fun" for a while

I've never used it because on my old laptop it never worked. Since I got a new laptop I thought I'd give it another go and I am actually quite impressed! So obviously the quality of your mic is important as expected I suppose...
Doubt I will be using it often as I can type fast anyway, but good to know if I'm in some lazy mood and can't be arsed to type

I’m sure I won’t be the only one thinking this. The internet is getting dumber

So this week I bought a new laptop. Now I’m one of those people (I hate myself for this) who spends hours deciding on which product to buy and I use the internet for my research.

This has made me realise even more, just how dumb the internet is becoming due to the ease at which anyone can post, answer, review and share their opinion.

So first off I searched Google to see if I could sell my windows 7 retail discs. First page on Google, I see a forum where someone has asked the same question who also pointed out the discs weren’t OEM. They received four answers…
Top one: “NO definitely NOT!! It’s ILLEGAL” (use of capitals just made it worst, like they were so right)
Next answer: “yeah as the guy above said, you can’t!”

41 megapixel phone!!
I'm aware that there is more to a camera than just megapixels to create good pics... ladida ladida.... but fitting a 41mp sensor in a phone is quite an achievement, and is a massive jump from what most phones have at the moment.

I don't understand why it runs on Symbian though... I'm right in saying it doesn't run Windows Phone aren't I...

Do we really need another os? and why I want the chromebook to fail


One thing I like about computers is that the choices regarding the os are pretty simple, we have windows and apple's os. (who knows what they call it now... it's not Mac OS anymore is it? anyway...) Sure there are a few ubunto users floating around but on a whole it's just them two, both of which are excellent. We know if we buy a portable hard drive, webcam or whatever peripheral, it's going to work, same goes with software.


I wish the mobile market was like this, instead of being "cluttered" by half-hearted attempts at a "new" os. If they aren't bringing anything new to the table why do we need them?

I'm even starting to think google is half hearted at times with Android.

The RC version has been available for a while, but now the final release is available

Ok I'm going to rant a bit here...
Why google+ is better than facebook... not in every way it isn't.
I like G+, hence I'm on here, but I have one reason why facebook is better than Google+ and that's the fact your wall isn't filled with posts like "Why facebook is better than google+" along with images and gifs showing some "Google+ sucks" story.
I'm sure there has never been a time when I've come on G+ and there hasn't been someone telling us why it's better than facebook.

But isn't that like trying to explain why a BMW is better than Audi to someone that ALREADY owns a BMW. It's kinda like... who you trying to convince? Hello!! We are already using G+... O_O

So yeah, that's my thoughts on those style of posts, rant is over :)

Android 5.0 may run on windows tablets without dual boot.

The thing is, we barely saw honeycomb, ICS seems to be slow at taking off and now they are trying to push a new version out for this summer!
They make all these updates but where are they?
I like android, my phone runs it, but I find it that the devices to run these new updates aren't made or take so long to come out
