I am not present lately but I find the time to post this photo.
I used the "Digital Blending" technique: I mixed manually (with photoshop) 3 exposures to realize the final picture (one exposure for the sky and the reflection, an other one for the island and the last one for stones in the foreground).

Big fish

A panoramic view of the lake "Saint André" in France at the sunrise.
I liked a lot the shape of the clouds, with the reflections they remind me a fish ;-)

I used 4 HDR photos for completing the panorama. Every HDR photo was tonemapped with Photomatix 4.2 from 3 exposures (0ev; -2ev; +2ev).

Hello everybody!
I am Girolamo Cracchiolo, a french (and italian) photographer. I live in a small village called "Saint Jean d'Arvey" in the french Alps.

Rêveries matinales
I took this photo at the "*lac du Bourget*" in France.
I used a Canon EOS 50D (Magic Lantern firmware) with a Samyang 8mm FishEye and 9 exposures (-4ev; -3ev; -2ev; -1ev; 0ev; +1ev; +2ev; +3ev; +4ev) for making the HDR tonemapping with Photomatix 4.1.

My first contribution in this community :-)

This is "Sérénité". I took the photo with a Canon EOS 50D and a Samyang 8mm Fish Eye lens.
I used 6 exposures ( 1/4s; 1/2s; 1s; 2s; 4s; 8s ) at f/11 for creating the HDR with Photomatix 4.1.

La chapelle Palatine

The Palatine Chapel (Italian: Cappella Palatina) is the royal chapel of the Norman kings of Sicily situated on the ground floor at the center of the Palazzo Reale in Palermo, southern Italy.
The chapel was commissioned by Roger II of Sicily in 1132 to be built upon an older chapel (now the crypt) constructed around 1080. It took eight years to build and many more to decorate with mosaics and fine art.
The mosaics of the Palatine Chapel are of unparalleled elegance as concerns elongated proportions and streaming draperies of figures.
The chapel combines harmoniously a variety of styles: the Norman architecture and door decor, the Arabic arches and scripts adorning the roof, the Byzantine dome and mosaics.

When I saw this immense cloud illuminated by the light of the sunset, I immediately took my camera!
