Der +Philipp Rösler zieht Bilanz. Sieht ja so aus, als wäre er's ganz zufrieden. Sein Freund, der bärtige Kai, trat übrigens nicht auf. Ich habe  das Video außerdem ohne Ton angesehen, um die Kollegen nicht zu stören - der Inhalt entsprach dann etwa dem, was das Google-Breitformat aus dem Post macht: Nichts. Keine Ahnung, ob das mit Ton anders ist.

Gerade die letzte Hunderunde absolviert, da läuft uns dieser Welpe über den Weg. So wie es aussieht vielleicht 8-10 Wochen alt, extrem abgemagert, eine leicht verschorfte Bissverletzung am Hinterlauf und total eingeschüchtert.

Natürlich wie bei den letzten Pflegehunden auch: Die ehemaligen "Besitzer" sind hier ins Dorf gefahren, haben den Hund ausgeladen wie einen Sack Müll und sind dann weggefahren. Das Schicksal des verunsicherten Tieres ist ihnen vollkommen gleichgültig.

Wir machen uns derweil mal an die Erstversorgung: Leichtes Dosenfutter, eine kleine Menge Trockenfutter, Wasser, ein Bad mit Hundeshampoo gegen Haut-Parasiten und den Dreck.

Wenn jemand hier in Spanien lebt und diese liebe junge Hundewelpin adoptieren möchte... bitte umgehend bei uns melden. DANKE!

New Follower Chart on CircleCount
better customizable, more options, more insights

Today we are launching our new follower chart on CircleCount.
As you can see in the animation below you have a lot of options:

► show the absolute follower numbers per day
► show the follower growth per day
► show the last 7 days
► show the last 30 days
► show the last 6 months
► show the last 1 year
► show all 
► show your custom selection

The options can be saved individually
That means that if you like to see always the follower growth in the last 7 days, you can save this as your default and will get to see on any profile exactly this chart (when you are logged in on CircleCount).

I have an issue with #communities  in the new layout. You used to be able to klick on the communities button and had a fly-out window with your communities which showed how many new posts each (at least the most recently visited) had. That is gone now and you're led to a not-so-well-working page with all your communities and some suggested ones. As I said, for me that's a step backwards.

I might not have the most common computer setup. I "live" on a PowerPC G5 with MacOS X 10.5.8 and Safari 5.0.6

With the new "share" box, I cannot use the "Upload from computer" button. It simply doesn't do anything. Drag and Drop works. If I choose "Your Google+ Photos" and then try to upload files from my PC, it will sit there pretending to upload but not uploading anything.

Now, my setup may be a bit outdated, but it's broken and doesn't bring up something like GMail does when you try to use it with an outdated browser.

Whenever I have the "share" box open and the notification counter increases, the "share" box closes. Lucky it stores its contents now, but still it's a pain having to open it again and again.

I cannot seem to share everything I want. I'm on 1280x1024 resolution and my "share" window is so large I cannot see the actual "share" button. I had to disable the toolbar in Safari (on a Mac) to be able to post. I could also habe done away with the dock, but that can't be the real thing.

"Shared privately" - that sounds more private than it actually is. It's the new wording for "limited" which fit better IMO. If you share with circles you can have hundreds of people you shared with. Limited is a more appropriate word here.

I can live with several aspects of the new #googleplus  layout. The notifications aren't one of those, unfortunately. When I scrolled down only a wee bit then it looks like in the first screenshot - the black bar disappears as well as the share button and my profile pic. If the notification counter then increases, if I click it I'll be teleported to somewhere else in the stream (always upwards), the share button and profile pic will appear, the notifications will be set to 0 and I'll have to click on the icon again to actually open the notifications. That doesn't work well.
