Many of us slightly older cyclists have goals. Things we'd like to achieve through our cycling, like improving health and losing weight.

In fact losing weight is probably one of the major goals of many older cyclists.

A thunder-boomer is coming in from the Northwest.

Finally, some respite from the heat. It was 89 F/31.6 C at 5:45pm this evening. It's now 79 F/26.1 C, the same temperature as it is in the house. Hot!

Ock! When I open Notifications up to take up the main area of G+, I'm waiting indefinitely for the stream to update once I hit the bottom of the first display amount. This is really sucking, peoplez.

I've got things to do. I'll be in and out as I have time and patience for this.

Notifications Dropdown Box Disappearing While In Use

I'm having problems with completing comments in posts in the dropdown Notifications dialog box. I'm unceremoniously, and without notice, dumped back to the stream, losing everything I typed in. I have also notice that with the multiple scrolling now in the Notification box, often when I trying to scroll I lose the box and am dumped back to the stream.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Has anyone come up with a script or extension to deal with this?

With the update of the Google Plus design on May 15, 2013 we have quite a few changes. To help you understand some of them, I offer a visual guide to the clickable parts of a New Google Plus Post.

All the referenced or highlighted areas are clickable, including the Poster's name and profile picture. The Options Menu (expanded on the right) will show different options if you are a viewer or the author of the post.

This post was found inside a Google Plus Community (GPC) and was captured that way to show some of the additional areas possible on a post. It was originally created out on my Profile's stream, and then reshared into a GPC called "Hangouts on Air".

I think with the morning almost over and having gotten up late to begin with, I better get on with my day. There is a jungle around the house that needs to be bushwacked (before the city does it for me and charges me for the privilege) and I have a friend's laptop that needs a screen replacement to do. Then I'll be ready for +Catherine Maguire and +Preston Reed's Hangout this afternoon. A busy day, indeed.
