Then, during the show, we'll talk about Jeremy's new app, OKDOTHIS, and other photo apps and that whole space in general. Since Lisa did Camera+, well she's kind of an expert! The four of us are also starting @111508817579086020312 together, so we may touch on that too... There are applications flying in from all over the world not only to be Apprentices, but also Masters. One guy that just applied to be a Master is Benjamin +Von Wong ! He's amazing and just one example. Perhaps during the show, his name will come up and we can show his amazing portfolio at http://www.vonwong.com/ And thanks again to +Peter Giordano for being our awesome host and to +Dave Veffer for being our awesome beardededed producer!||A fun G+ Hangout show #88 with Jeremy Cowart, Lisa Bettany, Thomas Hawk - talking photography, new apps, and more !! :)||2013-12-13 04:00:00||483|

Take all sorts of photos of your fellow walkers, and later, tag away. Get close, get far, get creative! - _Photo Lessons_ - I'll be stopping a few times throughout the walk to set up for shots. One of my final shots of 2013. From a New Year's Eve wedding I shot in San Francisco. Thanks to my second shooter, +Ed Szczepanski and the best man for their help with crowd control, getting the rest of the tourists to skeedaddle for a few seconds so we could get this shot.
70mm, 1/60th, ISO 1000, f/4.0. Ed was holding a monopod up with a speedlight and a Rogue Bender diffuser to light them. Triggered with Phottix Strato ii triggers. I then masked Ed out of the final image in Photoshop using a shot without him in it...sorry Ed. :)

Taken on my recent trip to Italy. A few days before shooting a wedding in Florence, I made a stop in Cinque Terre for a few days. This popular spot in Manarola had been on my bucket list of places to visit for years. Was nice to finally see in person what I had only seen in photos for so long. As much as I had an idea of what I would see from this spot (thank you +Stuck On Earth ) I wasn't expecting a full moon to rise above the hills and dance with the clouds like it did when I arrived...that was a nice little surprise. Italy seems to be full of those.

Happy Father's Day to all the pops out there. This is a shot of my dad, Jim, and I on the final day of our two week road trip from CA to Montana and back this past fall.
Photo taken by the fabulous +Karen Hutton who on a moment's notice, rallied out to meet us for a cup of coffee on a snowy morning at Jax Diner in her hometown of Truckee and take a few snaps for us, something we had very little of from our trip. A very special gift from a very special time with my dad. Thank you again KH!
