I had trouble getting images this morning! I couldn't see the screen properly because of the sun glaring off it I took a couple of random shots that really didn't turn out and soon gave up . . . Any tips for combating glare when photographing with smartphones?

Student and Teacher
It was Parent/Teacher Interview tonight - and what a pleasure it was to attend :o)
I like my son's teacher a great deal as she is enthusiastic, has a sense of humour and manages to get a lot of work out of her young charges. Who doesn't want to be told that their child is a model student who tries to convince their friends that what they're learning about is interesting?! To make my beam of pride shine greater, although my son is in Grade 1 she has started giving him Grade 2 work in areas to keep him challenged, without overburdening him. Then she even let me take her photo to post as part of my daily project.
I love my little over-achievers - I wish I was one LOL

Pieces of Moon Plate

Last day of feeding Mum's cat! This plate hangs on the wall near where the cat gets fed so I took a quick snap then editted using Pixlr. I don't know why she has this plate its really not her style - too hippy LOL I think she must have been given it as a gift.

My Top 50 Most Relevant G+ Peeps / Groups

Shout out to +Circloscope for this nifty new feature in their product - if you haven't tried it then it's the easiest way to manage G+ circles I know and having features added all the time such as this.

So what can I say about these people & group?

The 50 represented here are literally just the tip of the iceberg of those that have made my journey on G+ fun (above all), educational, inspirational and filled with beauty and knowledge and the pages aside I count you all as eFriends - I have to say that not one of the names in this Top 50 is a surprise though I am delighted to see some names I wouldn't have recalled otherwise.

May we all meet one day IRL - Namaste butties and I's happily chew bread with any of you (as we Wenglish speakers would say)

FABULOUS WOMEN ON G+ Part 3 of 4

My goal was to crowd-source a list of Fabulous Woman on G+ that are Actively posting and Engaging on Google+.  I had originally expected maybe 50 names.  Much to my surprise and , I received over 400+ comments filled with love and positive energy to help curate this list of well over 1384 beautiful people. I would say this was a success and now I'm sharing with everyone PUBLIC.  I hope you will share it far and wide too.  

#Google+ will only allow me to share 500 at a time, so the list has been broken down in to 4 circles.  Groups 1-4 do not indicate any specific preference to any woman.  I would have shared one massive circle if I was allowed.

A Rooster For My Shoe

I was at my Mother's house feeding her cat while she's away when I caught sight of the cast iron boot scrubber I got her a couple of years ago! I wish a had one myself!! The brush was still good and its heavy and sturdy with a handhold so you can give your boots a good scrubbing before you come indoors. . . and he's still crowing :o)

Yes I know! Two raindrop images in two days - what can I say its been a rainy week!
I don't usually get much reflection in my raindrops so I was pleased with this one, although I could have probably spent some time editing. . . Love having a built in macro lens with the Galaxy Note II, I didn't even notice the wee little bug on the clover leaf til I was reviewing the days images LOL

Mother's Day 2013

This is my mother with my my 6 1/2 yr old.
One of the hardest things I've had to deal with as a mother is to keep things fair between my four kids so they don't feel any favouritism - but this image turned out best!
Wondering why I never actually got around to a group shot?!
Now Mother's Day is just about over and my feet are warm and cosy in my new slippers :o)
Hope all the G+ mothers out in the circleverse enjoyed their day and get spoiled in turn - whenever they actually celebrate Mother's Day!

Mother's Helpers

My two oldest children put their pocket money together today to get me an early Mother's Day gift =) Now that I have my new phone/device/thingy they were determined to help me not to smash the screen by getting me a cover. . . and because I've been so nervous I got my present today instead of having to wait til Suday =P
I took this photo at the shop/booth to make sure the cover wouldn't hamper the camera and then used one of my favourite apps After Focus to edit.

In other happy news I finally have a replacement Galaxy Note II!! No cracked screen and I've managed to transfer photos onto the PC. I'm really looking forward to re-discovering the camera features and android editing apps :o)
