Slowly posting shots from my little trip to Paris. Just got back to the hotel and it's been raining non stop the whole day. Transferring the shots to the hard drive. Maybe I'll have time to post shot from the other cameras. ;-)

At the train station. Monday morning I'm off to Paris for some Street Photography and to take in the scent of Paris in spring, with my better half.

A week in Paris...I wonder what the city has installed for me. ;-))

So now I got all the functionality working on my blog. I'm always adding and removing things. But, I think I'm happy with where things are now. 
English and Swedish as choice of language are hopefully enough.

Skaters in action - !!

Sitting on the ground trying to see the frame thru my little Panasonic GX-1 wasn't easy. I did better with my iPhone, it was easier to see what I was doing and how I was framing the shot. For these shots...a display that tilts would have been great.

Five levels to think about? Very interesting.
Do you ever think about your photography this way? I happen to do, every day and every time I take shots I consider the emotional impact, what will people think and feel. Not easy thou, as street photography is not planned...we just frame moments in time. Many times the shot comes out of something that I see in the corner of my eye, something catches my attention and I stop. You all know what I'm talking about...

One problem however is that as we start to frame the shot we already interpret the emotional context of the scene, and alter it to Our liking as we take the shot. I often look at my work and think about how others would have seen and framed the scene. Would they have seen it differently, probably so. But would it have been a stronger emotional impact or just framed differently with the same impact?

The Swedish Street Community is having a very slow start. I'm hoping that more and more people, especially Swedish Street Photographers would join in and make the community alive...a place to share your ideas, photos and tips around Street photography and gear.
