The purpose of this new fund, I think, should be to invest and then sell to the market making Android/Chrome devices mainly. It'll be a series of sure bets, with big cash going into new components that can be surely measured to become successful in the market but which can only get realized when big investments are made.

- Space Exploration: I believe Google money can be used to fund such a thing as a Human Mission to Mars. They can spend $10 Billion to get teams of Humans to Mars within few years. The spaceships can be developed with SpaceX, the project can be done within 5 years, it can be paid for by video advertising as Billions of people will be watching live the most interesting reality TV show ever. Also all patents from the development of this project will be worth a lot. Thus this is a sure bet.

- YouTube will be spun out as an Alphabet company when they are ready to announce YouTube's giant revenues and profits which are growing rapidly. They just have to launch a few YouTube upgrades, such as the YouTube subscription system.

- Transportation: Google Alphabet absolutely needs to join and compete with Uber as soon as possible. Not to let Uber just take the whole world market. Maybe acquire Lyft if this can help speed things up. The Uber alternative needs to be friendlier to drivers and riders, not charge too large percentages on all the rides, money can be made elsewhere. Maybe if they can acquire Uber that may be good, if the price isn't too high.

- Acquire or build a new Airbnb competitor. Very important to push for improving of the home sharing market.

- Acquire Twitter. I don;t see much of a point in Twitter. But if Google wants to acquire Twitter, now with Alphabet they can do it. And simply run Twitter as an independent company under Alphabet. I think even better can be to spin off and rename Google+ and turn it into a new entity that can really go all-in into making the Social Network that will be the future of social networking to replace Facebook/Twitter.

- Robotics, need a new Alphabet Brand that sells world's coolest Robots, from extremely affordable to quite expensive and advanced. They need to provide the absolute best robots on the market.

- Car company. Do the Tesla thing, but much better/bigger, Self-driving Now, not 5 years later. Just commercialize!

- Google Connectivity. Loon and Fiber. Go big, go really fast! No more incremental improvements, Cover the whole world with 1gbit/s Internet now! Also MVNO like crazy and provide Google SIM cards ala Project Fi that really provides the cheapest/best wireless data worldwide!

- Google Cloud Platform, needs to be the biggest/best web host, for all automatically scalable cloud projects, easily take over the Wordpress hosting market, and all other php/mysql and all other web projects, host them for free and cheap.

- New Top Level Domains, provide them all for free, revolutionize top level domains. Make money elsewhere. Domain sharks should be forbidden, no domain squatting, only real projects can remain approved to control all the new top level domains controlled by Google.

- Alphabet Education, Chromebooks for all students, develop perfect Android apps for education, give one laptop to every child worldwide. Make money elsewhere. OLPC needs to be under Alphabet!

- Subsidize Shenzhen Design Houses. Alphabet needs a new entity which hires engineers from around the world to go live in Shenzhen near the design houses that build/design the future of Android, Chrome OS and more. This may have to be part of Google.___

Rebooting Android One, what Google should do for India and Shenzhen: Google should subsidize Indian software engineers to go work in Shenzhen China, at every design house, at every semiconductor company which are making Android devices for brands distributed worldwide. India has the talents that China lacks in Shenzhen to update all devices faster to Google's latest versions of Android. Yes this means Google-sponsored upgrading to Android M for RDA, Spreadtrum, MediaTek, Qualcomm, Hisilicon, Allwinner, Rockchip, Actions and more and for all the Shenzhen design houses working on each of these for phones, tablets, phablets, HDMI Sticks, Set-top-boxes, wearables and more.

Good bye overpriced smartphones? Goodbye iPhone? Who still wants to pay $700 for an iPhone if they can get a better spec'ed Android at $350? Apple made most of its money these past years on hiding the true cost of the iPhone. Perhaps more carriers are getting tired of paying Apple and other expensive smartphone makers such a large share of the revenue by agreeing to their scheme of hiding the true price of hardware. How did carriers profit from hiding the price of hardware?

MediaTek CrossMount, standard for Hardware sharing MediaTek CrossMount is a new standard for sharing hardware and software resources between different consumer electronics devices in the home, to be available in late 2015 for MediaTek-based Android devices. Based on the UPnP protocol, CrossMount connects compatible devices wirelessly, using either a home Wi-Fi network or a Wi-Fi Direct connection, to allow one to seamlessly access the features of the other. So you can start watching streaming video on the living room TV, for example, then switch it to your tablet when you move to another room, or use your TV’s speakers for a hands-free phone call with your smartphone. The CrossMount Alliance for MediaTek partners, customers and developers tries to make developing CrossMount applications easy, MediaTek says that many brands and developers are already on board.

Yes Uber needs to provide cars to its drivers, Uber should not try to profit on the cars, they get their share from the rides. "profits are not Uber’s goal with wanting to offer leases, and the intention is to break even with costs and sales." Uber Drivers should be able to swap cars, basically rent but it be some kind of lease so if they rent different Uber Cars for 2+ or 3+ years, they get to keep their favorite car and they don't have to pay the weekly lease anymore. Uber can simply charge the lease as a % on rides, so instead of 20% Uber commission, it might be a 25% Uber commission if you're driving a car provided to you by Uber. And Uber should try to emphasise the use of Electric cars and Uber should even set up a network of fast chargers and battery swap stations for their Electric car leasing/renting program.

It just seems Google is VERY slow at implementing the features necessary for the Stream to automatically highlight quality content, instead of just showing a bunch of random stuff from followers or from search keywords, Google+ needs to be much smarter than that! Google+ needs to be good enough as a replacement of Google Reader, it needs to automatically show you absolutely awesome content on every single item, not just "Featured" and "Popular" content, it has to be based on algorithms like "Since you +1 this type of content, we think you will like this item", it should be smart enough to only show amazing awesome stuff and then let users control with sliders, with switches, with filters, so it shows only the content you for sure like.

t's just that the Google+ algorithms and filters/sorting and machine learning is not yet smartly implemented to the Google+ Stream. Google just needs to make the Stream extremely Smart, Customizable, Automatic, with Smart Personal Recommendations and ways for users to control and tweak the algorithm, sure integrate those communities, collections and better use their auto-tagging, once Google implements that then Google+ will be a revolutionary way to use the Internet, it will be huge and will destroy Facebook and Twitter. Right now Google+ is just random crap posted by random people you don't know that happen to be in your huge circles full of random people who mostly don't use the network.

I wish there was some way I could reach the Google+ team and they would listen, cause I've been asking about the status on this for years since +Vic Gundotra  and still yet they have not upgraded Google+ in the right way to make it revolutionary.___

Android Profits Explained Mark Bergen @mhbergen thinks Android doesn't make profits. Here's how it works: Android's revenue and profits for Google are very much indirect. It's about the signals, it's about the usage behavior.

The 2 Billion people who use Android today have a gigantic positive impact on Google's Revenue and Profits today.

Android profits aren't all direct profits. It's not about the ads shown on the phone. It's about how the Smartphone (to some extent any Smartphone OS), affects that user's usage of the Internet, also on the desktop, and how that increased usage of the Web, automatically makes Google more money, directly and indirectly.

I think their bundling is evil and wrong. But I also believe it doesn't make any business sense for Google to continue doing that kind of illegal and anti-competitive app bundling on Android.

Google's GMS certification rules on Android hurts competition, it hurts companies trying to innovate, just like Wintel have been doing for decades, it slows down innovation, which is criminal I think against humanity. Surely not as bad as Wintel, but yet pretty bad.

I really hope that the EU will force Google to "break up" the practices Google has with Android. I hope that the EU will force Google to stop their bundling rules on Android, also that they will somehow force Google to work totally open source with dailies so all competitors can see all the latest developments about the future versions of Android, so that all companies can have the same chance to ship devices with newest versions of Android at the same time. It's counter-productive how Google chooses companies to get an advantage, to get months of advantage earlier access to future Android source code before it gets opened up to all of the open market.___

Google just made $65 Billion in one day. Please invest it in new low power displays, batteries and processors! Just put up Google cash for massive hardware innovation and make it available to the Android makers! The makers (the Android brands and factories) will pay for it over time, we just need Google to invest the big money required to purchase upfront the quantities required of significant improvements at the major component suppliers to happen sooner rather than later! Quit waiting for Apple to invest first and to have Android follow! Apple doesn't have the right priorities to make technology really better for everyone!

New Nintendo CEO has to simply do this:

New Nintendo CEO has to simply do this:
- Next Nintendo Home Console must be ARM Powered and based on Android with 4K support. Sold at $99.
- Nintendo Phones, Nintendo Tablets must be made, with optimal game controls. Nintendo can sell millions. Don't change the default Google Android UI, just add best Nintendo gaming controls to the Phone and Tablet.
- Complete back-catalog of all Nintendo games must be released onto Google Play Games platform. Every Android/iOS device must have access to all NES/SNES/N64/GameCube/Wii/WiiU/DS/3DS games. Nintendo must release official emulators for every platform, or to at least point towards or acquire the existing best emulators and use them.
- Nintendo Subscription around $5/month (basic), $10/month (advanced) to $20/month (gamer) must give unlimited access to all games as downloads, as streaming (OnLine style), and all Nintendo games should work on any Android/iOS device, on any Smart TV, anywhere.
- Nintendo must release the best possible gamepad attachments to fit any smartphone size, any tablet size, the best possible standard Bluetooth Gamepads that work with any Android TV Set-top-bo, that works with any Smart TV.
- Full back-catalog of old Nintendo games can be updated by Nintendo to better support touch-screen gameplay, to also add online multiplayer support and perhaps even support third party controbutions for additional levels/courses, for example Super Mario Cart from SNES should get online multiplayer mode. All those updates to games come for free for subscribers.
- Embrace BitTorrent peer-to-peer and hard drive copying as a way to spread the ROMs of all Nintendo games to as many people as possible. People will subscriber to the Nintendo subscription plan to get updates, to get new games, to get multiplayer modes and etc anyway.
- Nintendo must make a deal with Google to power the Google Play Games platform and to fill it up with thousands of the worlds best games, ready for best gaming experiences emulated on all Android devices in the world.

Nintendo and anyone must agree that I am right in terms of revenue and profit nothing beats my idea:
- 100 million Google Play Games Unlimited $5/month subscribers: $6 Billion profit per year (a big part of which would go to Nintendo)
- 10 million sold Nintendo Android Phones sold at $299 (at 2x manufacturing cost): $1.5 Billion profit
- 5 million sold Nintendo Android Tablets sold at $299 (at 1.5x manufacturing cost): $1 Billion profit
- 20 million ARM Powered 4K Google Android Home Consoles sold at $99 (at near factory cost): No Loss on hardware, they make their money on the subscription
- 20 million Nintendo Gamepad add-ons for any other Smartphone/Tablet/Set-top-box/SmartTV sold at $49 each (2x manufacturing cost): $500 Million profit

I have been saying this repeatedly here on Google+ since 2011:

Google RideWith, carpooling app, ridesharing from Google starting this week? Is this Google's timid response to Uber? They have to provide tiers for drivers to make it a business too, Google has to compete with every aspect of Uber! How Google can differentiate, and how Google can win over cities, drivers and riders, is by not trying to make any commission on the rides! It should be 5% maximum just mainly to cover credit card fees! Google can make enough money by people using Google Maps and Android Pay more!

The idea of LY is that people buying more than 1 unit get these discounts which is also the profits they can make if they resell them at the suggested price:
1 = Full price
5 = 15% discount
10 = 20% discount
25 = 30% discount

- Set future project goals for funding/sponsoring, as Indiegogo campaigns, let creators set goals for future productions, if set goal achieved through fanfunding and sponsorship, can be flexible or fixed goals, the creator can then produce that specified content. Funders can even get early access to footage, perhaps even option to see behind the scenes as production is being made, see deleted footage, see rough cut while being edited, evt provide comments/input/suggestions during production and etc. Funders at specified amounts can pay to get a role in the production, or to get their mention or contribute in the creation process somehow. For example "any donations of $200 or more get credited as Executive Producer", can be automated in credits.
- One-click purchase for placed products, any relevant product available relating to a video, there needs to be a one-click to purchase overlay on the videos, and pay content creators somewhere around 4% commission on all sales as Amazon Affiliates do. This should work with Amazon and any other store on Google Shopping. It needs to be automatic and easy to mass manage related products in Related Products for Videos Manager dashboard. It can also link to channel merchandise. I believe this will 10x the YouTube revenue for all YouTube partners.___

Uber acquires Bing Maps? Trying to also acquire Nokia Here Maps? Mapping is extremely important for the future of ride sharing. Her are features for the future of Uber Maps which I think may be the key to the future of Uber:

- More precise pickup Take a picture of where exactly you are, share with driver. Those pictures and exact instructions on pickup spot is shared on Map for future riders to pick and use for pickup too.

The key for UberPool, carpooling, increase in ride sharing efficiency, is to have a more precise use of the Street Map.

The solution to ticket sales for all events should be to identify every ticket holder by ID/passport photo, expedite by RFID at ticket gates, with database of all photos in the event system. The queue could also be online and through the app. That way also, for events that last a long time, it can also be managed that some people enter the event early and exit again at set time when delayed ticket holders do shot up, GPS tracking can be enabled from the app. All events should be like this, it would be the only way to fairly fill every seat, to fairly manage people who wait standby in queue.___

Every city worldwide must fully legalize Airbnb now! If they want to regulate it, they can levy tax (guests can pay on top) and require a loft to Airbnb's commission rate, also regulate Airbnb's insurance so it really covers any potential issue. Tourists and Traveling should be the highest priority for every city in Europe and worldwide. Airbnb makes it possible for more people to have a place that they can afford in cities, not the opposite. If rents are going up so fast everywhere, it's only fair that everyone should be able to amortize part or all of that through the sharing economy. And Governments can also regulate rent prices instead of blaming Airbnb for those increasing.
