I recently made a donation to Locks of Love, and I am not sure how I feel about this. Records of how donation items are used should be more transparent.

There are questions being raised about a well-known charity with a unique mission. Locks Of Love collects hair from donors and uses it to make wigs for children facing medical conditions. However, a watchdog group claims Locks Of Love can't account for millions of dollars' worth of donated hair.

Non-Profit Investor is a San Francisco charity watchdog group raising questions about how much of the donated hair actually is made into wigs. The group says Locks Of Love receives 104,000 hair donations a year, but only 317 wigs were produced in 2011.

Was in my yoga class today and this song came on over the speakers. I told the instructor how I've seen Lindsey play and met her in person. She said that she'd only heard of her last week, and liked her music so decided to incorporate it into some of her classes and hasn't had any complaints.

+Lindsey Stirling , your star is rising! I've always found that I can relax to your music and am glad to know that many more also can.

We really did find love in a hopeless place. So enjoy.

There is nothing quite like a mother is there? Held you close to her heart for nine months, then suffered pain, tearing and unceremonious loss of fluids and excrement, among other things, to bring you into this world, then had to deal with all your shit for the next 18 to 30(for some of you) years after that.

Groupon Australia has decided to compile some GIFS collected from scenes of different episodes of America's Next Top Model to showcase mother's reactions to different things their kid has ever done. This one is my favourite because, well, it has my name in it and it is exactly what my mom would say if I ever tried to cut her off mid-sentence :^)

Rengstorff Park

This town is so boring that I didn't even know that it had a park. Not to mention that the park had a swimming pool and a senior center. I had learned of a Community Yard sale happening here today so decided to come out and see what I could pick up for my apt. The only awesome thing I got was a shelf shaped like an elephant, but at least I found another place close to my house to do all my jogging and cross training in since it also has a tennis court.

Was on my way to my yoga class and was in a hurry because I was late, when I saw a guy start to side me up and race me. He and his friend were loud, cheering and whooping and everything. I ignored them and kept going, only to hear a big clang! The guy ran right into the divider on the 87. I swerved to the right to avoid him, then pulled over to see if he was okay. Both he and his friend were fine but hysterical. I called the cops and told them where we were. Several other people pulled over to inquire on what happened.

And of course I missed my yoga class.

Look man, save the racing for NASCAR. Do not try to endanger yours and the lives of others just to prove a point. Not only do you look stupid, but your demise would also be for a dumb reason.

And especially if I'm driving Andy's Jeep. You already know you will win, or in the case of this guy, have to spend sometime... more »

Google Translate – We've been busy

Hope none of you missed some of our recent launches over on Google Translate.

Two weeks ago we launched a new language, Khmer
This week we upped the ante and launched 5 new languages, Bosnian, Cebuano, Hmong, Javanese, and Marathi

Not only new languages, but new features too!

Our Phrasebook feature now syncs to Translate for Android, allowing you to save your favorite translations on desktop, edit them if you need to fix up a translation, and sync them to your phone for when you need them later.

Also, Translate by Camera input on Android has now been launched in 16 more languages.

A woman intentionally rammed her car into a man’s car while arguing over a parking spot in the Haight, but the victim was so focused on her low-cut dress that all he could describe to officers afterward were her breasts, San Francisco police said Thursday.

The woman drove away after hitting the man’s car at Haight and Cole streets at 5 p.m. Tuesday, said Park Station Officer Al Wu. The man couldn’t tell officers what kind of car it was, let alone supply a license-plate number, but he “was able to give a detailed description of the suspect’s cleavage,” police said.

No one has been arrested.

One Today

So I know that most of you have already heard about this app called One Today, developed by Google?

Basically the app was designed to give you an easier and more convenient way of supporting causes.

Some of my favourite things about this app include:

✓ The app curbs your donations; you can only support one cause a day. It literally will not allow you to make another donation if you have already made one for the day.

✓ All donations are tax-deductible(duh!).

✓ It gives you a history of all the causes you have supported thus far, which brings me back to the tax-deductible thing ;)

I have really terrible OCD. When spooning the café into my cup, when I realised I had done three spoonfuls, I put another half one in there to make it 4. Even numbers are just so much better than odd ones, wouldn't you agree?
