Interesting storybook/pop-up book style presentation in this comic which uses jquery animation (I'm assuming) to created a layered effect during the gallery position tweening. A lot of thought went into this.

Paradoxically I'm not a fan of plot-less movies or nonlinear storytelling but Fellini's 8-1/2 is one of my favorites all time and features my favorite directing.  There certainly is a SUBJECT despite the lack of plot, and viewed as a character study it's unparalleled. It's also one of the only "internal narratives" in film that I think actually works well which is probably due to the fact that it goes so far beyond simply using voiceovers. It's on Netflix streaming so you should check it out if you haven't seen it.

Anybody seen #startrek  yet and want to provide early feedback? I'm assuming that like all JJ Abrams work it's nonsensical pseudo-science but in an extremely entertaining package which is perfectly fine with me. Ideally they'll (a) stay away from time travel since their time travel in the first film was horribly realized and (b) offer an actual explanation for the Spock/Uhura (sp?) relationship, since it made zero sense.

Glad to see Iron Man doing so well, I thought it was great, loved the psychology aspect where Stark is still freaked out by the events of Avengers. IMO this is the biggest problem they'll have with a JLA movie if it ever happens. The best of DC's superhero movies, Batman by Nolan, never mentioned any superheroes in the world, so a completely relauch is the only way it'd work. And during the last Superman crapfest, he was returning to Metropolis and clearly was a legend at that point. No interconnectedness.
