Westward: Here's a quick update on the Layouts coming in: The preliminary layouts are delayed by a day. We will check back in with an update as soon as we know more. We plan to share as much as possible from here to the finish. We have 3 very talented artists involved in the sprint to the finish to fill empty space as needed in the book as identified by the layout artist. The plan is to currently be 99% layout complete with Westward by end of May. The last things to get finished are Table of Contents and Index.

D6 Magazine: Issue no. 6 cover art preview. Illustration and layout direction by +Drew Moss. I had a couple different ideas based around "Roll for Initiative," And Drew took the idea and went several steps further by adding the vintage comic book feel. Here's my #FridayFiveMinuteMap . I'm trying to get myself into "creative mode," here's the beginnings of my D&D Next playtest adventure... I'm taking the Caves of Chaos prepared module and I'm making some modifications. Its been forever since I've run Dungeons & Dragons.

Edit: I didn't catch that this week's theme was craters! I added in a boulder last second? Does that count? Its sort of like an anti-crater.

While searching through my Westward files this afternoon... I stumbled upon this, one of our very first pieces of art for the setting, illustrated by Tyler Walpole based on our Mech description. This would be the base for the Mech that ended up on our cover art, piloted by Captain Mich "Sureshot" Strummer. #WestwardRPG

The new Wicked North Games logo, presented in various shades! We're reworking our logo as to align with future directions... This is the base logo, we're working on a steampunk specific logo for Westward. As each setting we release will have a few tweaks to fit the setting's genre.

As we continue making progress on Westward's completion, here are two of my favorite images from Azamar I thought I'd share. Here's my Friday Five Minute Map. Its been a while, so here it goes - The Landing Zone: Your job? You and your crew have to land in the Landing/Meet Up Zone at exactly 0200. You'll have the cover of darkness on your side, so use stealth to your maximum advantage. Travel north to the Capital Building... from there, you'll split up into two teams. Team A will destroy the bridge, cutting off power to the turrets while Team B will destroy the Capital Building of Taruss itself.

Do not get yourself captured. It is rumored that the Governor himself is touring the site and is staying in a private wing so expect security to be tighter than usual. The success of this mission now depends on you.
