This  is the first of two circles,  I'll share the second circle this weekend so that they're not so on top of each other.  The circles have been divided alphabetically to help give more exposure to people with fewer followers.

Looking From the Inside Out
My cats don´t notice the sunset, when we hang out on my terrace. They can´t see red. But I sure enjoy the change of colors :)

Morning Glory
When you live in this valley, you´re surrounded by mountains on all sides except for one where the Atlantic Ocean is. The mountains on the pic, where sun is rising, is to my left side and to my right side the sun sets behind the mountain there. Well in the wintertime it sets at the Atlantic Ocean. This is the End of One Road …
… after almost three hours walk from where I live, where you sometimes have to jump from stone to stone to avoid the water as the path here and there may be totally covered by the river!

Living in a Cave!
On La Gomera some people still live in caves – especially the goatherds. In some desolate places in the mountains you can see a door cut into the mountain wall leading into a cave. This pic is from a cave about 1 km up the mountain La Merica. The goatherd kept the newly born kid and the mother inside there for a while.

Floss …
… is a café I started in Denmark back in the 80s, and since then it has become cult due to the look of the place and the clientele of models, punks and musician. A fictional movie based on this place and its characters have been produced by the Danish Television, who also produced ´The Killing´, and it has just been released on video.

SpringIsEverywhere!
But fortunately the earth quakes happening on the neighbor are not here on La Gomera, where I live there´s no active volcanos. On the neighboring island El Hierro there has been more than 500 small earthquakes during the last week and yesterday there was one measured to be of magnitude 4,6, which has caused some rockfalls and landslides and now an YELLOW ALERT has been declared for the island.

I live in the last house on this street. At the end of the street there´s a trashed out chicken house and right after that the mountain goes up very steep, which it also does on the other side of the main door – and at the front the mountain goes steep down towards the Atlantic Ocean. So there´s only one way to start off for a walk, but a little later there´s a choice of going up or down the mountain. My cat prefers to go up. Here we have just returned for such a walk and now he´s eager to get back home.

This shot is from an old path for goats and after following it awhile I had to realize, that I am not a goat and I returned with two others who had arrived at the same conclusion. But as you can see the view is gorgeous :)
