Getting Bigger and Stronger

Ember is 18 months old now.  The doctor says she is over 100% in height and over 90% in weight. Her equivalent adult height is 5'11" right now. Everyone mentions how "strong" she is, hehe, and we just thought it was a nice way of saying that she is "well-fed", but she is very active. We go on a lot of early morning walks and she could do a mile (I think).

We had this sweet potato cake for Mother's Day. It was an unusual and tasty sponge cake with sweet potato layers inside and pretty leaves and flowers decorated on top.  Enjoy, #FoodFriday  !

Mac & Cheese at Ramos House Cafe

Macroni with gruyere, gouda, truffle oil, smoked vegetables, artichokes, asparagus and a lemon gremolada.

Ramos House Cafe is a house built in 1881, located on the historic Los Rios Street, San Juan Capistrano, CA. The chef and owner lives there, and he serves breakfast and lunch to guests in the cozy and charming patio area. The food is superb, elegant southern comfort like the crab hash, crawfish deviled eggs and apple cinnamon beignets.

Great Tip! Now I can delete hundreds of filters and use just one. The phrases that I use are "You are receiving this email because", "Email doesn't look right?", and "Having trouble viewing this email?".
