I have lost 17 pounds since the start of May. Now it's starting to slow down to what I expected. 
Last two days I haven't been able to keep track of my foods. But I wasn't really hungry either, so I'm not too worried.

Working on more of those mini paperweights and magnets that people loved at the funky flea. 
Doing a bunch of 4th of July themed ones. 
Also ordered some rare earth magnets. Raise the cost a little, but they should stay better than what I was using. Industrial magnet tape, not the crafty sort. But it was still tough to work with.

One thing that gets me as a cat lover is how people refuse to let a black cat near them.
We have always had black cats, usually named Frankenstein (Thank you Red Dwarf).  They have always been the best cats we have had.
A woman told me tonight, that at a pet store, there is a black kitten. They were charging $90 for her. It included all the shots and vet stuff. Now are charging $30 for her. Because people refuse to even touch her because she is black.

Really?  In this day and age, people are letting a superstition decide if a cat deserves a home?
Of course these are the same mind set that buy a candy bar, just so they don't have to pay $6.66.

I'm really wondering if blogging is worthwhile for authors. It takes up an awful lot of valuable writing time, and for what benefit? There are so many social media options available now to 'spread the word'. So is it time to forget the blog, blast out on Twitter, Facebook and the rest, and just concentrate on writing books?

I came up with a creature yesterday. Now, I can't decide if I should include it in a story, or dust off the RPG  supplies and work it into a campaign.

I got some real wodka last night (no where on the label is it spelt with a v)

Rye vodka from Poland, has now made it on my top three types of liquor to drink.  This bottle should last me most of the summer. Because it comes with a hell of a kick, that you don't expect.

Don't you love it when it's payday and your check is already spent.
On the good side: I had to replenish my home inventory of books.
Might be here in time for the Funky Flea Market on Monday. If not, I will have  to raid my inventory at the store.
I also had to buy more supplies to make more trinkets.

And dinner out because youngest is home.

Nothing spent on stupid stuff, thank fully.

I have been extremely good with my new health changes.
 So tonight, I order pizza and boneless baked wings (like small breaded chicken breast cutlets). And I was still good. Stayed in my calorie range.

BUT

Because I have not been eating "junk" food for two weeks, I really shocked my system with this meal.
I have insomnia, a rash, and intestinal pain.  Except for the rash, you would think it was food poisoning, but hubby is sleeping peacefully, while I toss and turn.

Time to curl up on the couch and realize my body doesn't like some of the foods I still love.

Too bad too, those boneless wings were delicious.

One of our colorful characters came into the store tonight.
Let's call them "Rooster Crackhead"
I'm not sure if they were doing crack. Maybe some other chemical enhancement, or maybe it was the lack of one they needed.
But they went on a little rant, not an angry rant, about cars, prostitutes, about fifteen minutes of incoherent conversation.

But they left on a good note. I was told "God Bless and I love you, love everyone."

I was like being hit by a verbal tornado, spewed out by a random generator.

Is let me choose how many columns I want, From 1 to whatever, and what in each column.
Maybe I want my regular stream in one, but want to follow a hastag during the day in another.

In one week is the Funky Flea Market at the Dinosaur BBQ. Hubby and I are  brainstorming display ideas for his artwork. He didn't sell anything last time, and we think its because nothing caught people's eyes when they walked by. We get the best table, first one you see when you come upstairs, so it isn't the location.

Any ideas would help.
Few points to consider.
Display(s) must be able to go on a bus, or fold down.
Some of his work is framed (largest 8 X 10), most is mounted on foamcore or poster board.
