Strange events - This morning, on my iPod Touch with iOS 5.1.1, I was having slow response with Flipbook refreshing. Then it started working, but there was an icon at the top of the screen that seemed to say it was a 3G cellphone connection, and the title bar said "Radio". WTF?

With student loan rates set to double on July 1 to 6.8 percent, Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday endorsed legislation by Sen. Elizabeth Warren to set student loan interest rates at the same 0.75 percent level that the Federal Reserve offers to big banks. “A great idea,” Bernie said of Warren’s bill. “The only thing wrong with this bill is that Elizabeth thought of it and I didn’t,” Bernie said Friday on The Thom Hartmann Program. A Congressional Budget Office report on Tuesday projected that the student loan program administered by the U.S. Department of Education would yield a record $51 billion profit off student borrowers.

I have another newbie problem / question. App Store tells me I need to upgrade the YouTube app. I cannot, because it used to be my son's iPod and it is connected to his id. So, I thought I would just remove the app and reinstall it.
But no, it is apparently a built-in app. A long touch to make the icons wiggle does not give a red X to remove this app.
So, how am I supposed to do the upgrade?
PS - I tried to sign in to the YouTube app with my own YouTube id, but it will not accept that, either.

Is there a way to copy a YouTube video link in iOS, so I can paste it into a G+ post? I tried a prolonged touch, which is the usual way I get the Copy menu in iOS, but nothing happens. I am using iOS5 on an iPod Touch.

New question: How do I get to Communities that I am a member of? When I click the Communities button, it gives me a list of all communities, with an option to search for communities.

I run Siduction Linux with LXDE as my sole distro. I want to try Razor-QT, but I cannot afford to mess up my system. SLIM is my login manager.
If I simply install razor-qt, will it automatically give me the choice of which desktop to choose when I login, and will I be able to smoothly select either desktop from one login to the next?
