I'm making Ground Beef "Helper" from my low-carb cookbook! I have a pound of ground beef, 1/2 a cup of diced celery, 1/2 a cup of chopped onion, and half a cup of chopped bell pepper. I'm about to drain the grease, add 8oz tomato sauce, 1.5 cups of whole wheat pasta, 1 cup of mexican blend shredded cheese, 1/3 cup of water, 2 tsp minced garlic, and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Then, I'll top it off with more cheese and pop it in tue broiler to brown! Yum!

My personal summary of this video: When we view others, we expect them to make us happy. If they don't, we dread even seeing them and interacting with them. In essense, we expect the billions of people in the world to cater to our happiness alone and that is unrealistic. Changing your perception from the selfish view to a vision of love for all others can help improve your relationships. Instead of saying "how can that person make me happy" we start thinking "how can I make this person happy." It is essentially putting all others before yourself.

My thoughts on this video: Though I would love to change this about me, it is also unrealistic to think that it would be easy to do so or even fully possible in modern day society. I can't exactly follow my planned diet for my hypoglycemia since I had only JUST bought groceries before I got that book that gives you tips on what diet to follow (it all depends on your OWN body. High protein/low carb could be for you, or a low carb/high protein diet could be for you if you have hypoglycemia.).

So I don't have many hypoglycemic-friendly foods from that shopping trip but I am trying to work around it. I DO have 2 more days of protein smoothies (hemp) left and those are a big help especially since it's so difficult for me to actually eat breakfast. This is an excellent replacement. I've also stopped drinking coffee completely (since I didn't drink it too much before) and am sticking to water or diluted juice! I already know this change alone will help me feel so much better.

Guys, I think there is a serious problem with today's generation of teenagers. I have a cousin who is just under 20 years old. Some of his friends on Facebook were posting some very disturbing jokes about babies and he was telling them how sick it was. Here they are:

Sooo we found a solution to not knowing what game to play because you have so many good ones. I named it video game roulette, but I just write the names if the games I wanted to play on paper, folded them and put them in a cup. We are now taking turns pulling a game. :) ^_^

I am NOT a country music fan by NO means. In fact, I avoid it.

But I wanted to hear this today after hearing that it was "darker" than her usual stuff. I have to say...I'm liking this song. It does make me want to check out the rest of her new album, actually. Then again, Carrie Underwood has more of a pop feel to her music, especially here I think.
