As you might read today masses of posts about the new Ubuntu for phone - http://www.ubuntu.com/devices/phone , i really want to remember you of the amazing previous project of Ubuntu - Ubuntu for android. I really think that the Ubuntu for phone UI is really great in handling etc. - but think of this Ubuntu for android on actual quadcore phones with 2gigs of ram. Maybe there will be a more seemless integration in the near future. But the possibilities of having a full pc os running on your phone is far beyond a simplified phone os - as the new Ubuntu for phone seems to be. You can run all normal applications like IDE's and else, you wont find for your phone todays. This would be real game changer for me.

Know what i really miss on #ingress  . A real background service with push notifications for #ingress  activities in short range. Like EMP bursts and newly hacked portals. Only in the standard recognition range. And in addition a short range mini messanger to gather allies nearby. I think that would raise the interactivity with unknown allies enormously.
