Aspropyrgos re-revisited

Last Sunday I revisited (for the millionth time) my fave decaying jetty at Aspropyrgos coast near Athens, Greece, trying to shoot something specifically for the LE Challenge, held on my friendly Flickr-group.

I ended up with something quite similar to one I had made last year, but it seems I never get tired of this place... Over the last year, when I "discovered" the place, I must have shot (almost) every possible angle and focal length but it’s the weather conditions that make each time really unique.
 
Ohh, and a funny story for the end:
While I was there shooting, a couple showed up with camera, tripod, ND filters etc. and the girl started photographing the jetty. My son grabbed my phone today. #mom #mothersday

He took the phone without asking and when my wife brought it back to me it was all dusty and dirty. I called him over and scolded him and he just stood there with his head down. When I opened the phone today and saw the images, you can imagine how I felt. When I asked why he had not told me what he had been doing, he said "mommy was there, she would have heard me"  I was so proud of him. He took the punishment in order to save his secret for his mother.

An image that I shot last year that I was mentioning on a post elsewhere today and wanted to re-share it. My friend +Marcello Senatore  has a awesome travel tour company on the Amalfi Coast. They have these very cool guided and unguided hiking tours that they offer through the little villages along the Coast. I made this image to help sell the self guided tours. This image was titled, "The ultimate self-guided tour." Miss you Marcello.....
