Real-time Cyber Threat Map

So here I was, a couple of days ago, waiting for a friend of mine to join me for a run around Barcelona.  It occurred to me that I didn't have a good way to tell him where I was in the city.  Sure, I could send him a Google Maps link, but what I really want is a way to send GPS co-ords so that Android's intents system can pick an app on his device and show him the way.  Is there a good way to do this?

We were using WhatsApp to communicate when we were there (there were a large group of us) and again, it would have been a fantastic feature if we could just dump location markers.  We used to use Google Latitude for this, but privacy concerns meant people didn't want "always on" location tracking.

Things like this force you to push the more trivial aspects of life into perspective.

If you haven't played it yet, I heartily encourage you to see what the most minimal viral game looks like. A single game mechanic (tap to make the bird flap) is enough to make this thing ludicrously addictive and make me depressed.

How is it that:

b) It can go viral?  I mean, seriously?
c) A game that I'm certain I could write in a weekend becomes more successful than games that have taken dev studios months and even years to perfect?  Even the title of the game highlights the developer's apparent apathy.

I dislike all of the default alarm clock sounds on my Nexus 5.  So in a fit of madness, I decided it would be amusing to set my alarm clock to play Sonny & Cher's "I got you babe", as used in the film Groundhog Day.  Bill Murray's character Phil is woken every day by this song on the radio.

Most analysts put the amount of times that Phil is woken by "Babe" between 3,600 (10 years) and 14,000 (40 years) in order to have enough time to perfect all of the things we see him learn in the film.

I'm only on day 2 and I'm already cracking.

What's the most pleasant noise to wake up to?  I need alternatives, people!
