Bring on summer! It may be -4 today but we're still wearing our boat shoes sockless. It's more about being stubborn than comfort right now though. I refuse to give in to winter weather.

Great video of Marco and Hugo crossing the finish line in Wellington. 2 legs down, and they'll certainly be pleased to be done with the Southern leg.

"METs was a huge success for Chatham. We expect to sign new distributors and retailers as a direct result of the show. Interest was global, from the Caribbean to Croatia, Poland, the Ukraine, New Zealand, Hong Kong and even Japan.

With our current product range, combined with escalating brand awareness, it was the right time to exhibit at METs. Our new footwear appealed, with strong interest in the Chatham G2 professional range of deck shoes, especially the men’s innovative Sloop and Schooner styles, plus classics like Deck, Kayak and Bermuda.

Alex Peirce, Product and Marketing manager, recently sat down with Stevie Knight from Boating Business to give a bit of insight into the Chatham brand strategy going forward.

It's been important for us to not re-invent the wheel, but rather enhance what we already do best. We look out into the market place right now and we see prices going up, but quality going down.

Chatham has gone in the opposite route, we aren't cutting quality we're enhancing it.
