Occupy Tulsa
TPD Showed up around 11:15pm - 2 squad cars, 1 prisoner transport, 1 van - about 10 officers total. Came in slow, blocked off only one street, the officer who usually gets on mic read the ordinance, sounding tired, bored, and grumpy. When he was finished, we stepped off all at the same time, and said on the People's Mic, "Tulsa PD, sorry to make you have to come out in the rain and cold, but we have hot coffee if you would like some. We are not joking, we really do have coffee!" The officer then got back on the loudspeaker and said "Thanks, we have some coffee back at the station, but we do appreciate it" and laughed. "Occupy Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. has announced that it is in contact with Occupy Wall Street in New York, and are forming a plan for the occupation of Washington in the spring. An "Occupy Summit" where thousands of activists will be asked to move to Washington for a massive increase in the occupation there.
