Wow, lookie, G+ you totally changed while I was away for a couple of days. I haven't posted a sunrise in a while, but I did shoot this one a couple of days ago. I just thought that light way over on the mountain was so pretty against the black and white sky that I had to go shoot it. 

Oh, and while we're posting things, I heard you had a birthday +Alan Shapiro. Thanks for being one of the very first people to ever comment on my photos here on G+, and a huge source of inspiration for myself and so many here. You are like that spot of sun over there, so grateful for you.

I almost didn't have one for this week yet because life has just been 'that way' if you know what I mean... However, I was doing a shoot yesterday for a cute vacation rental and took this shot of the table set up. I was just processing it and it dawned on me that it fit the theme. :-) So now I feel better.

I'm documenting a garden for the hungry this year, and this is part of the project. This is the first three weeks of growth in this little row. So far it seems the onions are the fastest growers. (Far right)

American Gothic Scarecrow. One of the many awesome scarecrows at The Lord's Acre. This year I'm documenting this amazing garden for the hungry. The growth of the food, the interns, the volunteers, where the food goes when harvested, the spin-off gardens around the area. It's a wonderful project, led by wonderful people.

Out here where I live, this really is the only night light actually. And I know there will be a million moon shots in today's feed... this face was shining through my bedroom window all night long.

Trying to get hitched...An elevator ride while trying to find a magistrate at City Hall to perform the wedding ceremony. It turned out that was impossible as the times were only early morning and late afternoon, which was a surprise, so the couple ended up getting married by a minister/friend who just happened to be available. Instead of the ceremony happening in this stuffed up courthouse, it happened out at a beautiful lake. That's their adorable little boy.  He liked pushing the buttons. :-)

I know it's not #floralfriday  any more, but it is +Daniel Sjostrom 's birthday. Daniel was one of my very first friends on G+ and is a wonderful inspiration here.

These daffodils survived a recent snow, but thrust themselves downward to the ground, like a bow, so I had to pick them all. Every single one of them is now in this vase waiting to say happy birthday to Daniel.
