I am constantly getting emails, Facebook messages inviting me to speak at conferences in India and Asia from total strangers.

Does anyone know what is the purpose. They very much much feel like a scam?

I also get overseas churches wanting to be accredited by me.

Over the last few years I have been amazed when some of the worst behaved children become Christians. The transformation has been significant. Last week for a whole lesson a girl was perfectly behaved, asking thoughtful questions and really paying attention. At the end of the lesson she came up to tell me that she is now a Christian.

God by his Spirit, is changing lives, anyone can try a turn over a new leaf, only God can truly transform from within.

"False Faith" is making Jesus say things he did not. So you think if you are a Christian you should be wealthy?

Some people mix free will with our ability to choice.
"Free will" does not mean we have freedom to choice whatever we like, all of us are being steered by society, friends, Satan, media etc.
All our decisions are made with limited knowledge, and sometimes impacted by tiredness, stress, hormones etc.
Our sinful nature has also created a leaning or bias to do what is not right.

Some people think predestination means we are puppets - this is fatalism. Predestination is more like a bird with a broken wing, we know how to fly but just cannot.

Thus Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?"

Why do cult groups always believe they are the most Bible believing churches?

Recently a pastor who had been removed from the ministers fraternal told the other ministers that his rejection of the Trinity made his church the most biblically accurate.

Sadly my board has taken a very soft view on the promoting a Church that denies the Trinity.

Although I have resigned based on conscience, they have used a loop hole that meant I have been forced to work an extra 5 months. (8 weeks to go)

A hard issue is popularity vs. truth. Why do so many TV preachers promote non-Christian teachings?

We should not treat people equally. The poor, the powerless, the broken and the lost need extra love, support and care.
It is not equal treatment but equal opportunity that is worth fighting for.

For me, the idea of a creation is not conceivable without invoking the necessity of design. One cannot be exposed to the law and order of the universe without concluding that there must be design and purpose behind it all.

While the admission of a design for the universe ultimately raises the question of a Designer (a subject outside of science), the scientific method does not allow us to exclude data which lead to the conclusion that the universe, life and man are based on design. To be forced to believe only one conclusion –that everything in the universe happened by chance –would violate the very objectivity of science itself. Certainly there are those who argue that the universe evolved out of a random process, but what random process could produce the brain of a man or the system of the human eye?

Most said by our works.

Second question by your method will you make it to heaven?

They all said 'no'

When I shared that Christians believe in grace and forgiveness I had a very captive audience.

I then talk about why God adopts us (having adopted 1 and fostered 23)
They are deeply aware that it is God who first loves us, while we were yet sinners.

Tomorrow we will here a message from the second half of the book of Haggai.

A key teaching is God is with us: God himself is with us! He is not sending an angel or some other agent to strengthen us in our task. He is Immanuel - God with us.

He will not leave us or forsake us in the middle of our task. He never sleeps nor slumbers.

He is the ever-vigilant, almighty, good shepherd who cares for us. Therefore, we may lean on him, listen to him, and rest in him who says to us, "I am with you!"

Today, Australia remember those who have died in battle.

In World War One 13.43 percent of the white male population and probably about half the eligible men enrolled. Over 37% of men 18-44 enlisted.

Every town, every street, every family was impacted. If your son did not go in to battle, then it was your neighbors.

Lest we forget.

It is not the battles they fought but the peace they won that counts.

Sadly, in the desire to get people to become Christians some people will imply that faith will give you more than what the Bible says.

If you become a Christian you will be rich, healthy, successful, get a wife or husband, be happy, have no problems. Their offer sounds more like a wonder diet.

What brings people also keeps people. If salvation is based on false hope, then so is the response the people may be making.

Paul in 2 Cor. 10:4 "For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough."

How are you meant to grow a church?
1. The Wall Street Model - Churches grow by the proper application of business principles.
2. The Hollywood Model - If you entertain them, they’ll come back.
3. The Psychiatric Model - Providing emotional support and solutions rather than direct God’s people in worship.
