The crystal waters of Dublin Bay on Lake Wanaka, New Zealand.The shores of  Lake Wanaka are the gateway to Aspiring National Park and offers many scenic bays and inlets.In summer its perfect for fishing or boating and any other water fueled activities, it is so beautiful here it will make your eyes bleed!!!

This photo was taken early morning late summer from a Helicopter.

 In winter snow capped mountains lead into the lake and many skiers and snowboarders travel from all around the world to ski or ride the world class mountains and parks it has to offer....
 
 Wanaka is a great contrast to the hussle and bussle of Queenstown 45mins drive across the crown range.
If you are considering coming to NZ I would strongly suggest you take the time to check out Wanaka!!

Lochnagar (Goat's Lake) is located at the headwaters of the Shotover River, deep in the back country of New Zealand, between Wanaka and Queenstown.
This image was taken mid summer from a helicopter on a very windy day.....
The alpine lake was created when a large landslip occurred and blocked the valley.... The lake empties through an underground passage and the water reappears several hundred metres below the lake into a steep mountain stream..... The terrain in the background can be accessed in winter for heli skiing/boarding.

The Earnslaw cuts across lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Station. The TSS Earnslaw has been cruising the lake for 150 years and is a great way to take in the scenery for visitors to Queenstown....

Queenstown is a great place to go Jetboating and take in the scenery, Thunder Jet Operates from Queenstown's centre and is a great way to blow the cob webs out after a night exploring the vast Hospitality that is on offer here.....

Here the boat is on the glassy Kawarau river before entering the world famous braided Shotover river....

The Routeburn Track is a popular multi day walk about 1/2 an hour from Glenorchy and about 1.5 hours from Queenstown, New Zealand.
This crystal clear creek is a routeburn tributary that has changed its path over the years and has forged its way through beech forest.
This is a spectacular part of NZ that I will be documenting more of in upcoming shares...

This image was taken on a shoot with +chris Kirkham from Greenroom productions in August. +Stefan Haworth was working with me on this project also. I used a 30sec exposure so not to blur out the stars. In the LH background you can just see the lights of the groomers working at the Cardrona ski resort across the valley...In the the foreground Chris and my shadows are visable from the moon light shadow. The features visible in the shot are the quaterpipe and the channel gap that has a snow-machine in the middle of it.... giving a volcano like appearance....!

New Zealand's Highest Mountain Mt Cook"Aoraki" 3,754 metres (12,316 ft) with Tasman Glacier and its terminal lake in the foreground. Mt Tasman is the peak on the far RH side of the shot and is also a very impressive pyramid shaped peak.
