This is an interesting concept. First we took the code from the desktop to the server, now we're going back? Still could be cool for graphic or CPU intensive stuff though.

I just think it's pretty awesome that Android Studio was announced today, and is already available for download. Seems to be working pretty well too!

Images from yesterday's fire on Hergert road south of Cornelius. A big thank you to the Oregon Trail Red Cross as they helped find places for ten adults!

The biggest call of my volunteer shift this weekend, a barn fire just outside of Forest Grove. I was running water supply so I was able to take some pictures. Was a little emotional as this was my Uncle's shop, I have a lot of memories from it growing up, and I know how much it meant to him.

This is a good #SEO problem to have. Not all warnings are bad. I love getting these, and they're becoming more frequent. It also helps as a proof of concept for my Innovatsiya project.

This is a list of functions you can perform without having to load jQuery. Incidentally these are the biggest things I use jQuery for lol. I've never claimed to be a #javascript guru.

Yet more IIS/Permission problems on my site. Really considering a move back to a #linux server. I hosted it on various Linux servers for around 10 years, never had a fraction of the problems I encounter now.
I love C# and the .Net framework, but it's such a shame that has to be hosted on the shaky and low quality foundation that is Windows and IIS. I know they are two different teams within Microsoft, but they seem like two different companies.
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. It's clearly obvious why the web is dominated by Linux webservers. Microsoft .Net offers some really great technology and really cutting edge stuff, but many of the best programmers out there ignore it, because of the steaming pile of an OS it has to sit on, that you have to pay thru the nose for.

Some technologies wither on the vine and slowly fade away. Flash was pulled into an alley and shot in the back of the head.

Volunteer firefighters step up despite personal tragedy, looming danger

To everyone who has been glued to the coverage of the events of the last week: It's time to wake up, and open our eyes.
While thousands of citizens were stuck in their homes in fear, there were thousands of men and women combing the streets, looking for these two idiots. People who caught bullets and shrapnel just doing their job, and thousands of people who were up all night putting their lives on the line.
Every single one of them knew it might be their last night on this earth, that they may be taken away from their families forever. But they stepped up, and they did it. They did it for their fellow citizens.
In Texas, several firefighters perished, again trying to save their fellow citizens. Stepping up to sacrifice themselves for the good of others.
You know who wasn't out there protecting you? The millionaire politicians who are getting their pa... more »
