So Google+ is now a million times more awesome, especially for vertical and even square-format images. I'm in love with the changes, and I'd like to share a vertical image taken last year that I don't think I've shared here before. The milky way, as seen from Northern Ontario. With warmer nights, I hope to make more images like this in the near future. :)

Since several people have asked about this: If you want to see posts in a single column in the new Google+ UI, instead of in multiple columns, scroll to the top of your stream. To the right of your circles is a "More" menu. At the very bottom of that menu there's an option to switch between single- and multi-column mode.

Communities Tip
If you are a member of many communities but find yourself checking only a handful on a regular basis, use the mouse over on the Communities button on the left menu. It will bring up a sub-menu of the 8 last Communities you visited.
No more having to click to the main Communities page and scrolling through the list. Voila, instant access!

So I take it from my stream that you all like the new toy we made for you? :)
protip on the difference between "Invite people" and "Share community".
Invite lets you directly notify your buddies that this is the best thing EVER for them to come join, and since it can be a bit spammier it has limits on how many people can be invited and you can't send it to "public".
Share just makes a regular (yet very attractive) post, and can be shared to any circles you'd like or even public but doesn't generate any special notifications.
