This sequence with actress Jennie-Jane Monnaie was inspired by the classic Sheena Easton hit, 9 to 5 (the morning train). It’s about a woman who waits all day for her man to come home from work.

I'm working on a project around the neighbourhood , Strasbourg St . Denis. I realise it's important to work on a series of photos and not just one..so I will try to frequent this place for the rest of the year and build a series upon it.

I'm getting into fashion photography because compared to the documentary work I did before where I focused on reality, fashion photography allows me to create my own reality with storylines and ideas. Here's a portrait of a fashion shoot I did recently with model Katya. Managed 4 looks in 5 hours of shooting. Will put more up later.

I haven’t blogged for quite sometime but I’ll start getting into a routine . Been a hectic few weeks leading up to the start of my photography studies at SPEOS. Our first assignment for our photojournalism class is to shoot the techno parade in Paris. Thankfully, I used to go to house and techno clubs quite a bit in my early twenties so I don’t mind the music at all I’ll have to narrow the below selections down to a final 15 for our assignment. Not sure either about the processing I did but I’m sure I’ll find my visual style closer toward the end of my course.
Pour le moment,voici quelques photos.

I was worried my dreams of living in Paris would be shattered but luckily
after 7 visits to the French embassy, I finally got my visa. You don't want to hear what I have to say about the people at the embassy. Anyway, it's my last day in Tokyo! I'll be in Paris on Tuesday , can't believe it! Thanks to all who recently liked my page and who has been following me. Always appreciate it!

This reportage is not for the faint-hearted. It is exactly what the title suggests but I have mozaiced the offensive bits. Only click if you want , don't report or complain later because i didn't put it directly on Google plus . ;) I don't expect to get banned for this

When a typhoon hits Tokyo, there isn’t really much to fear. In the 6 years I’ve lived in Tokyo , every time a warning is issued there has never been any danger. I remember days of drinking beer with my colleagues after work on days of typhoons . The wind in your face was refreshing.

One of the most unusual festivals in Japan is the Kanamara Festival that occurs every year in Kawasaki in April. It is centered around the male and female reproductive organs...

I can say that not only is Mika one of the most important friends that I’ve had during my stay in Japan, but I credit her along with Tommy Oshima for inspiring me to try out film photography again (I had shot film in my youth but that was on simple P&S cameras). I admire her work; every piece has a story and you can get to know her thoughtfulness and sensitivity by simply looking through her images. Mika, I really appreciate you and I want to publicly thank you for your friendship.
