Until the laws get changed, youngsters should be careful to only date people who are the same age.  When you or your friend has a birthday, avoid any more dates until you are the same age again.  Otherwise, the police can arrest the older youngster for battery of a minor.  No matter that there is no sex, and the relationship is consensual.

When someone leaks classified information, the leaker should know the nature of the info being secret.  But how about the person to whom the info is leaked?  How is the recipient to know it is secret?  Professional journalists should check info, before publishing, to verify the info.  Is that enough?

The same statute, which was used against Aaron Schwartz, was used to convict this guy, except in the commission of the crime, the defendant never touched a computer.  A person can be convicted of hacking, by helping someone else misuse computer data.

At the beginning of 2010, I was still in the hospital recovering from injuries I'd sustained while serving in Iraq. I was released early in the year, but still did not find employment until October, and even then, it was only part time. I can assure you, as I did the IRS, that I did not earn $157,000.00. Actually, I earned less than $10,000.00 in 2010.

I kindly read the federal code mentioned above to the lady I spoke with at the IRS, reminding her that VA disability money is 100% exempt. She placed me on hold for another age (I could see a man coming- bearing water- over the horizon) and then she came back on the line and told me, "We do not take veterans' disability money. We wait until the funds are deposited from the VA and then we take all of the funds from your bank account."

The teenager allegedly bought marijuana, was pursued by the police, into has grandmother house, where one police officer shot the boy dead in the bathroom.  The boy was unarmed, but the one who shot him, thought he was armed, because he had been told that by other police.  A grand jury was not told this last fact, so because of that, a judge threw out the grand jury decision that the killing was manslaughter.  Those other cops have not been charged with doing anything wrong.

We do not have the freedom of speech to yell FIRE in a crowded theater, if there is no fire.  When questioned by the police, we have to tell them who we are, we cannot withhold our identity.  But not everyone knows the limits of the rights.  Many know the basic rights, but not all the nuances.

Police response, to a water balloon fight, was excessive.
 
A student, not involved in the fight, was attacked by the police, and severely injured.  A parent, who witnessed the police assault, went to complain to the Principal about the police brutality, was arrested for trespassing in the school.

(a)   send video to some remote site(s) so when the police seize and destroy the evidence on the cell phone, there is a copy some place else;
(b)  the some place else need to have legal protection so that a search warrant can get a copy of the video, but not police destruction of it.
