In Dating-coach Dr. Christie Hartman's Twitter feed, she has a tweet that she uses regularly: Guys: chivalry is an easy, cost-free way to impress a woman.

When this tweet posts, she usually get a retweet or two, but not much traffic. But recently, she got a couple of responses from men, one of whom offers dating
advice: NO!!!! THIS IS WRONG!!! [...]

Out of my own experience "Guys (like me) who perform still chivalry and act like Gentlemen are considered "Nice guys" and go home alone - your comment on this ->

In Oregon, the Joesphine County Police Department is facing budget cuts and are not able to be on call over the weekends. So, when an unidentified Josephine County woman called 911, her call was forwarded to the Oregon State Police. She was calling because her ex-boyfriend was breaking into her house, and she was sure that she was going to be assaulted. He had already put her in the hospital before, and she knew it was going to happen again. Here’s what the dispatcher told her:

 “Uh, I don’t have anybody to send out there. You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? Do you know if he’s intoxicated or anything?… Once again it’s unfortunate you guys don’t have any law enforcement out there.”

Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning has filed charges against a nurse who works for late-term abortion practitioner LeRoy Carhart.
The charges follow the conviction of late-term abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell, who killed babies in gruesome abortion-infanticide procedures and killed a woman in a failed abortion.

Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who is pregnant, took Kermit Gosnell’s defense attorney to task Wednesday afternoon in an interview, saying the way he acted in the court room and in interviews afterwards makes it appear he thinks Gosnell is “a swell man.”

“We don’t tar the attorney with the sins of the client,” Kelly told Gosnell attorney Jack McMahon, but she scolded him for defending Gosnell after the trial, saying “he wasn’t upset when he was aborting these babies and laughing how one child, one baby was big enough to walk him to the bus stop.”

The IRS official who refused to testify this week -- while claiming she had done nothing wrong -- signed letters to Tea Party groups a year ago that asked them to turn over everything from printouts of their Facebook pages to the credentials of speakers who participated in their events.
 
A group representing more than a dozen Tea Party groups now suing the IRS released a sample of one of the letters overnight, after the official Lois Lerner was placed on administrative leave. According to one lawmaker, she was only placed on leave after she refused to resign.

The Internal Revenue Service mishandled tax returns of adoptive families, flagging for further review 90 percent of those who claimed the adoption tax credit for the 2012 filing season. And a report by the federal agency’s Taxpayer Advocate Service also found that nearly 70 percent of adoptive families — more than 35,000 — had at least a partial audit of their tax return. By contrast, just one percent of all returns are audited.
