I am so proud, honored and humbled to have the privileged to stand in the shadow of extraordinary men.

A little over a year ago +Ken Smith and I started a quiet but important journey, a non profit called the +Veterans Workshop  Ken has been a tireless Veterans advocate for over 20 years since he started the largest homeless shelter for Veterans in the country in Boston.

Let me be unerringly clear, this in not about us, far far from it.  It is about the men who have lost their sight, their hearing or the use of their bodies but not their minds, not their determination and spirit.  People like +Emory Finefrock +GeorGe Lamb +Chuck Smith and +Martin Brown who comprise our fist class.  These disabled Veterans are training to help other disabled Veterans using the power of Google Plus.

July 10th 1940, both John and Olivia have just met up for tea at the local pub when the air raid sirens began. John looks up to see hundreds of condensation trails in the skies, headed directly for them. Olivia stood stoically, facing their impending doom with silent reproach for the invading air force, then grabbed at John's hand, leading them toward the underground railway. The Economics of Sex

This model attempts to capture the dynamics of coupling (people, as in romantically). Agents, the strategies they employ, and market conditions in general are greatly simplified. However, I argue that the model is still useful in understanding certain dynamics in coupling/relationships.

Like any good model, we start with simplifying assumptions.

All agents have the parameter, attractiveness. All agents have the same perception of attractiveness (ie there is an objective scale), and all agents have complete information regarding this parameter (knows his attractiveness, knows the attractiveness of all others).

-Agents try to maximize their utility, U(attractiveness of partner) = attractiveness of partner (ie they are rational).

Here is the problem that I have with the new layout. I can not for the life of me focus on the text to the right in the second post.

If I zoom in enough to have just one post visable at 300% I can only see 1/4 of the image.

It was the first place I ate when I came here for the first time 15 years ago. My cousin Steve Stanford picked me up from the airport and we made a b line for this greasy little joint , a wagon on wheels in the heart of Kennedy Plaza. He said if I was going to live in Rhode Island I needed some of it in my blood.

He dropped me off at the Builtmore where I lived for three months and flipped me $100. I was living like a king but I was flat broke. I was newly maried to the girl of my dreams, just got a job with a little company called Omnipoint that no one had ever heard of. I was the third employee through the door in New England. They call it TMobile now. Perhaps you have heard of it. I was living the American dream.
