Decided to prune my Google Music library. I think I deleted around 700 songs. Feel much better, now I only have music I'm at least somewhat interested in listening to, and my artist list is like half the length.

And this is why I HATE Intel. K-series suck, because I actually care about the extra features (like VT-d) more than overclocking, but also prefer the freedom to tune my chip how I want.

AMD might not be as competitive in performance as I wish, but at least I can go out and buy their most expensive chip, have full control, and still get important features like full hardware virtualization, and at a fraction the cost.

Funny thing is, I somehow know why it actually is 301, and the + was supposed to make it more obvious.

(For those that don't know, videos that reach a certain number of views in a short amount of time have the counter suspended until Youtube verifies that the traffic is in fact legitimate. Once that's done, the counter adds the legitimate views, and then counts correctly from then on.)

Chrome bit me in the ass today. Wouldn't update some fonts properly, even though I had a different tab running a different version of my CSS that displayed fine. I updated all the properties until they were identical, but it rendered them completely differently. I finally refreshed the good tab and noticed that they were being rendered differently, even running the same code.

Apparently, the one tab had become stuck in some weird way, and wouldn't render correctly. Closing and reopening worked though, so I readded all my changes and got it working. Basically spent an hour in hell.

TL;DR: Even your favorite browser can screw you over every now and then. Also, I'm switching back to IE as my main browser :3

Went shooting yesterday.

Shot some .22s, a 9mm, 1911 .45, 25-06 rifle, and my favorite, the 12 guage.

I was mist excited about the 12 gauge. Never shot one before, but always believed it to be my weapon of choice. That belief is now confirmed. I did like the .45 quite a bit too. The 25-06 was good, but the sights were off and I didn't hit my target on any of the 3 shots. Hopefully I'll do better next time.

Decided to try my old Evo battery in my Hero. I think it's the first time I've been able to power it on in over 2 and a half years (the original battery for it was rendered useless for letting it sit idly for too long).

Looks like I last flashed Cyanogenmod 6.1.0 RC1. Gonna see what I can do with it and what version of Android I can get it up to.

Halo lore has got to be some of the most complex I've seen for a video game, never mind a first-person shooter. I'm almost through all the books currently available, and there's still lot left not quite explained. There's a ton of factions, and the universe stretches from about 11 million years ago to 500 years into the future.

It is one of the greatest sci-fi's ever told, and not many people recognize it.

So in just under 34 hours, I finally finished my very first playthrough of Ocarina of Time. The 3D aspect was pretty good, definitely appreciated some of the fixes to some of the more annoying aspects of the game (Navi seems a bit more toned down, and dialog is definitely faster)

Finished with 13 out of 20 hearts, the three magic spells, magic bar upgrade, Big Goron sword, 3 out of 4 bottles, fire and ice arrows, giants wallet and about 45 of the 100 golden skulltulas.

So basically, I got a little over half of the optional items/upgrades. Now I'm going to play the Master Quest and try to get all the things I missed. Having all the maps mirrored is really going to screw with me though...

Our Google Music remote is coming along nicely. +Reuben Lifshay already has the basic server functionality working. Doesn't handle too many types of commands yet, and each server only allows one Google Music endpoint, but you can attach multiple controllers, and so far we have play/pause, next song, and previous song functionality working.

He's got the beginnings of the userscript that actually manipulates the Google Music tab, and I've got the start of a controller webapp. It's all very rudimentary, but coming along nicely. Hopefully soon we can start posting the source on Github so others can start playing around with it.

I'm really excited about this project. I can finally sit on the couch and control my computer's music from across the room. Laziness ftw!

So now I know that CoD: MW3 sucks more than I thought it could. After all these years, they still don't have proper lag compensation. Lag always sucks, but having the screen all-out freeze while playing is the worst design I've seen yet. If I were playing it, pretty sure I would have pulled the disc and smashed it from the rage. God just watching this game sucks.
