A Severe Weather Event is expected on Wednesday across Northwest and North Texas. The most significant severe weather will likely be in Northwest Texas and much of Oklahoma. All modes of severe weather are possible, including tornadoes tomorrow afternoon. A squall line will move east/southeast into North Texas tomorrow night with a continuing threat of severe weather. High-Tech Pill Will Text When Swallowed

"Each pill’s sensor has a unique identification. When the pill is swallowed, its sensor is activated by the body’s electrolyte charge. It then transmits a signal to a small, battery-powered patch, which the patient must wear on his or her torso. The patch detects the pill’s unique identification and sends a notification that it has been ingested, via Bluetooth, to a caregiver or physician’s smart phone as well as a secure database accessible to anyone authorized by the patient."

It's a technicality. For #bridgesontuesday curated by +Steve Boyko  I submit this only because I was ON a bridge with traffic whizzing by behind me when I took this shot. Normally I hate the appearance of the Red River which divides and provides the border between Oklahoma and Texas but on this day and with this processing which has long since been forgotten, I kinda like it. This is the river bridge just outside Terral, Ok. It's about a 30 min drive from my home and I usually go there at least twice a month to have the best catfish and tartar sauce in the world at Doug's Peach Orchard. Complete with a red draw (except for this past Sunday and I'm still not over the fact there was no tomato juice....)

I am resharing this for #bridgesovertuesday curated by +Steve Boyko . This is a recent photo taken with my Samsung Galaxy S 3 phone. I didn't know I was going so I couldn't take my camera with me. I will be more prepared next time!!

This bridge used to actually be in use in Denton county in Texas. Several years ago they decided it was obsolete I guess. I can't imagine why.

I processed it with snapseed and maybe threw in another app. Not sure. Anyway, it reflects the mystery that I wanted the bridge to have...not the actual bridge.

This is my car Betsy. We go on lots of little adventures. Today...we went to a "lake" and got stuck in the sand. Some kind gentlemen on 4 wheelers were kind enough to try to get us out. Finally, a nice young man in a big ol' Dodge truck yanked us outta there.
We went home, but then the storms blew through. ( the ones we were after at the lake ...) so we headed out to the edge of town to the old church to snap some pics.
I got this one of her as I headed back to get in. I loooove my Betsy. Lol

This is my first Bluebonnet picture of 2013. My granddaughter Lorelai had found a ladybug in their house the other day and decided to keep it for a "pet". Upon arriving home from kindergarten she couldn't find her. She began to weep and try to enlist all of those in the house to help her find her. Big fat tears ran down her little face and she made the power puff mouth that broke my heart when she was a mere toddler.
When I saw this today, I took it for her and posted it to Facebook tagging her Mom in it so she could show her. The post said " For Lorelai...I found your ladybug. She said she loves living in the Bluebonnets, but she misses the smell of your hair."
Lorelai read the post and said, " oh so she snuck out...no wonder I couldn't find her. " and all was right with the world.

Since this photo and my errant hashtag use is considered spam in the latest group I was invited to that is so full of their own virtue that they can only be defined by a word I seldom use in the public forum, I removed it from their sanctimonious little click and put it back where it belongs...in the public so that all may see how adorable it is. Lol

This it's my granddaughter Violet. She takes after her father and is a computer nerd already at not even 5 months old.

She inched all the way across the living room floor just to get at the laptop. She's hilarious.

Today I dug out an old radio and the first station that came on was a Christian rock station. I felt like it couldn't hurt to listen for a while. I was tired of all the junk on my iPad.
About an hour in, this song played. It was as if someone crawled into my soul and began singing about my life for the last ...idk how long.
Some of the lyrics were so personal to me. So I found it and wanted to share it here, away from my small town busybody Facebook. I have a few double friends but I don't mind sharing with them. They are generally close enough to know at least a little of my life.
This song doesn't really inspire hope but at least the hope that I can hope again someday.

This was her first photoshoot with her Grammy and aunt Aly. She was quite the tempermental diva but she did pose for a couple of good shots. This was the one I liked the best.

A share for #rustysunday  ...it's been a long time since I've been able to share out to the community and I still won't be able to monitor any comments very well. But it makes me feel like I'm coming home to be able to share a few things in the hope that I won't be forgotten. 
This is a pump jack. My grandmother used to always tell my little girl to look for any gulley cats on the dirt road near our home. She always said it right at the time that we would pass an old rusty pump jack and so my daughter thought that these were the gulley cats.

I am considering flying the coop. Loading up some clothes and just turning off the utilities that remain at my house and striking out across country just to see where the wind blows me. I can't find a job here. What I am making here will not cover even the basics and no matter how I try I can't find a job. I don't have any remaining help, no money, no prospects. Perhaps getting in motion is the thing to do.
