Check out the first (of many!) products that I helped create. The FireFly (yes I'd like to think I'm a browncoat, but that's not why it was named that) LED artist light board! We launched this on kickstarter Wednesday morning, and needless to say I'm nervous about it getting the funded all the time now (must relax...). Anyway, I'm hoping you guys will help spread the word.

Last fall, I walked away from a full-time job to pursue this path. I teamed up with a couple of other people that wanted to do the same, so we're making games and products, that WE want to actually make, that we also think others are (hopefully) looking for. Thanks again for the support everyone!

I've been using my kids as an excuse to relive my own TV/movie childhood. However, it does make me happy that they like classic cartoons like Galaxy Rangers, He-Man, an the original Thundercats (we also dig the new series).

As for movies, they really like Goonies and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. We just watched Monster Squad yesterday, and I think they liked it. Next DVD to look for: Explorers!

I signed up as an Apple developer this evening! I'm very excited, and I can't wait to get something into the app store. It's something on my 2011 goals list. Of course I've got too many ideas, and not enough time to do them all.

I should have something ready to submit by next Friday (the one without Smokey), since I've been working on it for a while now. I'm sure everyone will be sick of hearing me talk about it by then, though...ha, too bad!!

These past couple of weeks have been a real eye-opening experience, trying to teach myself Objective-C (iOS/Mac app development). It really brings me back to the days of trial-by-fire ActionScript development. Of course I've got a much better understanding of things like OOP, so this has been a much more enjoyable experience.

Exciting times ahead...

How cool is this!? I started using a slim front pocket wallet when I realized that my regular wallet was just too painful to sit on while driving (sadly there was never any cash in there). Now this lets me keep the phone with it too? Sign me up!
