Charity Challenge 2013 Supporters

These are the G+ Activists in my mind.  Everyone of the people in this circle are Plussers who took the time to Share, Blog, Draw or otherwise promote my 2013 Charity Challenge.   This year cost me more than I have ever spent because of the great people in this circle.

Charity Challenge Payout

As promised here are the reciepts showing my payouts in the 2013 Charity Challenge where I donated money for things others did.   This year far surpassed my expectations as I was forced able to donate the most money ever in my yearly challenge.

Dear Googlers, I have no issues with someone dropping me from their circles and there are several that don't follow me back that I keep in my circles because they will continue to engage with me when I comment on their posts.

However, if you remove me from your circles and have your settings such that only those in your circles can comment, I will delete you.

Many of you know part of my May Charity challenge is to donate $1 to charity for every new follower on G+ I got.  I have three well deserving charities that I will be paying $ to already.

#PLUSdollar  Project +G+ Achievement Unlocked & #PLUSdollar2  Launches!

The Idea
I started this project to see what the POWER of G+ and social could do. The idea was that if everyone that circled you gave you $1, that'd be a big PLUS chunk of change to do some #awesomesauce  in this world.

The 1st campaign launched showed heart and I wasn't sure how it would turn out (it could have been worse & it can still be way better). I am proud to announce that $115 was raised for the initial #PLUSdollar  Project. 

I gave everyone the option to suggest where the funds should go and I would divide the total funds raised based on +1's.

Thank You for Sharing Me with the World

Every so often I like to share the circle of Plussers who shared me in one of their circles.  Just my way of saying thanks and glad you are out there.

Also had to test the new circle share feature since you can't click on the circle to open it up anymore.  Just click the "Add People" button and you can see all the people in the circle and pick and choose if you want to add some to a new/existing circle.

Figured I would send a little sugar in hopes to get three things of the new interface I find annoying changed.  And yes to everyone I used the feedback tool (not just complaining to you)  This is what I sent

Three Issues with the new design of G+ that I hope you will look into.

1. Can we have the option to lock the search bar in place at the top?  As someone who moves up and down in comments with the scroll bar it gets very annoying especially within the notification panel
2.  There is no longer in the notifications window the ability to readily see the number of reshares.  Can we get that back?
3. Can you consider separating the activity of +1's and reshares.  I get the idea behind placing them together but from a user standpoint it offers no benefits.   I like having a list of +1's in one place and reshares in another.  I tryto than... more »

Two Column G+ stream is possible

I like the two column look on tablets but with the new G+ interface on my desktop I seemed to only be able to choose a single sparse column or a three column stream that was overbearing. Here is how to force a two column view if you want

1. Make sure you are in the default view that for me showed 3 columns depending on your monitor width
2. Turn of the hangouts on the right so you can see the right side of the screen
3. On PC click CTRL + to increase the size of the columns. Keep going past where you think you should. You will see the third column start moving off the stream but keep going until you only see two columns
4. Refresh your browser. Seems to be a sweet spot so if you revert to three columns you may have to start over. If it stays at two you can move on
5. Now use CTRL - to decrease the size to your... more »

Anyone still not happy with the new layout or changing to the single pane view.. If you really want to revert back to the old layout hit ALT+F4 and it will take back to the old G+ layout..
