Blooming with fullness

Pink is powerful

Sentimental, because that rhododendron has moved a good many times and survived a few dire situations (on a Parisian balcony, stored...). It's the shrub I planted to celebrate the birth of my second daughter Cecile, 28 years ago....
It grows now in the soil of French gâtinais.

This is the second version of the painting. The first was too ... I did this one more rapidly, with far more coolness. I let go. I prefer it to the first but I'm still not fully satisfied. I may give it a third go.

Photo taken in Camden market. I found a few little things by young creators and François has found ti-shirts and hoodies much to his taste. Fine shopping session and all the buoyancy, colors, scents, noises, ambiancies of the place. 
We ate good pub food. François's fries were gorgeous. I had a nice fresh beer to go with it.
We've been to the market  cruising on Regent's canal and went back the same way. 
All in all a regal day.

This house is situated along the Rhine in Basel. I shot it just after having had a fall because I was utterly distracted by the charm of the place and the house's signs.

Here, apart the impression of living in a tree, there's a  dove's bas-relief.

As we are in the week of #epcafes   organized by +European Photo  , here's another allustion to the café of my grandfather, le Raymond, one of the hero of Retro Games Camp.

Here, the Raymond is much younger and his wife is still alive. The play-boy is le Fernand Barbier, producer of the best Marc of Bourgogne in the village.

A small touch of LR, but no reparations. I wanted to keep it like that. I don't know why.

Going to England with François, 14, from the 27th of April to the 3rd of May

I intend to stay in London most of the times but may take the train to visit around. I can spend the night of the first of May outside London.

Any idea. We have been a good many times in London and visited extensively. We have also been in Greenwich and at Kew Gardens plus Windsor and Oxford.

Proof that spring was on the way, wedding shots' season has started in Parc Montsouris, Paris 14ème.

That group seemed as entangled in their wedding attires as blazing happy, a candid interpretation of Prevert's poem
