I know first hand about their funding problems. Seriously people, tuition at the college I work at is 1/3 what the university on the other side of town is. And that's the public university. Don't you think you could afford to raise rates $10-20 a credit hour and still compete?

The law of unintended consequences... in Ohio, the GOP were trying to curb student voting by giving universities a gigantic incentive not to help them register to vote locally... but what they didn't figure was that it would also encourage students to register to vote because it would cut their tuition rates, making student voting rates go up rather than down. HA!
