Twizy
Today I got my new alloy rims for my #Twizy. I really like the look of the rims. It changes the complete look of my little electric car.

Geroldsau Waterfall
This is the Geroldsau Waterfall which is located near Baden-Baden (Baden-Württemberg/Germany). I just live one hour away from this place but I have never been there before in my life. The waterfall and the surrounding area is just amazing.

Luckily I have chosen the right time to shoot this photo. It was in the late evening and most of the people were gone already, so I had no surrounding people which disturbed me. The light was perfect for this shot.

Grobbach (near Geroldsau Waterfall)
This small river leads you to the Geroldsau Waterfall, which is located near Baden-Baden in Baden-Württemberg/Germany. 

Luckily I have chosen the right time to shoot this photo. It was in the late evening and most of the people were gone already, so I had no surrounding people which disturbed me. The light was perfect for this shot.

Joined Kiva
Today I have joined +Kiva and lent $25 which was a free invitation loan and have also done another $25 loan. 

I hope that the borrowers can realize their project and also their dreams. I will definitely lend again.

Karlsruhe Main Station
I have shot this photo months ago as one of my first photos which I had taken with my Nexus 4. Now I have found it in my gallery again and liked it immediately.
I have edited it using snapseed and eyeem two great apps on Android.

I love the symmetries in this shot, the way I have edit it and the location it shows. I have written it in the title, it shows Karlsruhe main station, a very busy place during the whole day. Train stations have something special, I can't say what, maybe the all the people, the coming and going of them.

Welcome Spring!
First time this year with good temperatures in the evening (about 25°C), a balcony, a good white wine, salad and a tasty potato casserole topped with goat cheese. That's all you need to have a good dinner and an enjoyable evening in the city.

Somewhere near Schneizlreuth in the south of Bavaria/Germany
This will be my last winter shot for this year. I shot it at our last snow hiking tour before the weather got bad and the whole view was gone. I really like the clouds in this shot and the far view from this point.

Hope you like it and now we all say goodbye to this very long winter this year. ;-)

David Keller
Yesterday I have found David Keller's webpage on the internet who is really a great DJ (from Heidelberg, Germany) who makes very good remixes and own songs. Feel free to listen to one of his sets on soundcloud (link below) or on his other webpages (you can find the links on the soundcloud page).

If you love electronic music then you should listen to him. My favourite song at the moment is "Herzblut".

Sadly that I can't include the #soundcloud  player into a G+ post, that would be great. Anyone knows if this is possible?

Contrasts of winter
During our snowshoe hiking tour we had this view for a very small moment. The clouds opened just for some seconds and then they cover the sky and the whole view was gone.

That was REALLY close
Two weeks ago I thought that it couldn't be shorter with my battery charge. But this time I really made it shorter. I left with a battery charge of only 2km and for the first time I noticed that my Twizy didn't have enough power to accelerate anymore. I stepped on the gas and nothing happened, it just stuck at the lowest energy consumption which is possible and I really thought that I wasn't able to arrive at home. 

What did I learn from this? Never drive your battery charge lower than a rest capacity of 4km, everything else below 4km is a risk that you won't arrive your destination.

This will be interesting for all +Freunde des Twizy and owners of +Elektroauto. Maybe it's worth to reshare it.

Can it be shorter?
Yesterday evening I returned luckily at home with my Twizy and a battery charge for only 4 more kilometres. I haven't noticed the small battery charge warning symbol before in my display. This was really a good calculated trip. :-)

For those who don't know what a Twizy is and what the photo shows: The Twizy is a small electric car manufactured by Renault and on the photo you can see the cockpit display of it. On the left you can see the battery state of charge and at the bottom centered you can see the kilometres you are able to drive with the actual battery charge.

I think the slowmoVideo project needs more attention
I have discovered this project some time ago, but I wasn't able to try it because it depend on nVidia GPUs for calclulating the optical flow of the video. But this limitation was dropped with version 0.3 and it can be used now with any GPU. I have tried it and it makes great results!

But what is slowmoVideo (http://slowmovideo.granjow.net/)? slowmoVideo is a program that creates super slow-motion video of your footage without any stuttering of the video itself. The webpage stated the following features:

 - Videos in any format supported by ffmpeg can be loaded. Image sequences can also be loaded, so, if you did a timelapse with too few frames, slowmoVideo may help as well.

Core Theatre Ensemble chose one of my photos to be there next poster for their current production

The time goes by too fast. Can't really believe that I was this little sweetie about 31 years ago. :)

I have restored these two shots from my dad's slide archive. They had a light red coloration and some ugly scrapes. But I think I have done a good job.

Farrenkopf (789m) near Hausach (Black Forest, Germany)

I have shot this photo during our last hike in the Black Forest. It was a perfect weather at this winter day and you had a great view over the surrounded valleys. This small hut is an alpine hut for hikers on their way on the Westweg, one of the best long distance hiking trail in Germany. The name of the hut is Hasemannhütte.

I got my Renault Twizy today
Finally after 8 weeks of waiting I got my new Renault Twizy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Twizy). It's just great fun to drive with it, I really enjoy it. And the best thing is that you drive without any CO² emission!

I will post some photos in the next few days of my new Twizy...  :-)

Maybe the most famous song is Chapel Song, this song was/is on the OST from The Art Of Flight (http://artofflightmovie.com/) a really great snowboard movie.

Not the newest album, but nevertheless a really cool band (The Seedy Seeds). Just found it a week ago and love it already. I should really find more music from some independent bands on the internet. Most of the time they are better than all the main stream music out there...

It goes down
This is my first sports photo. I have shot it during the ride this weekend with our bikes. This time I had my equipment (DSLR, flash, etc.) with me.
Thanks goes to Marco H. for the patience to do some spots over and over again, so I had time to try different angels and positions.

Please feel free to leave some criticism about the shot and keep in mind that I have never done sports photography before.

This is a fully 360° panorama from top of the world´s longest tree top walk in Spiegelau, Bavarian Forest National Park, Germany. This was shot in December and the sky was really clear, so you could see a very long distance.
