I see this as a lateral move for Dempsey. Being with Tottenham was not his goal and I don't see them being a Champions League team. He was better off with +Fulham.

this is the tough part of the franchise relationship. This Dan Cathy guy is clearly a pig, but taking it out on those who may not share his beliefs is unfair. I'd be interested to know the extent C-F-A screens prospective franchisees...if it's clear that the majority of them share his beliefs, well, and the horses they all rode in on.

That said, this is like how everyone wanted to boycott the BP gas stations on the gulf coast after the Macando well homicides and subsequent pollution. The guy who owned the gas station could've been a shell or gulf station in the past, and switched to BP to get a deal that helps him stay in business. Taking him down via a boycott...tough thing to do and to rationalize.

+Robert Charles  and I were just discussing the fact that the horrific tragedy in Aurora, CO would likely drive more people to call for gun control.  Here's a great argument as to why that's not a solution.  In fact, there's anecdotal evidence would say that if someone was carrying at the theater, they could have stopped the gunman during his spree.  

Obviously, there are risks.  You could be mistaken as the shooter(s), but you could also save lives.  Just ask Suzanna Hupp if she would have liked that option.

I'm not all that interested in joining whatever that is (that fab.com crap was tough enough to get rid of), but the Moleskine looks cool!
