Spring
From one roll of Fuji-film ISO 400, spend a lot of time developing the film, in my kitchen (that part is always fun) A lot of time scanning the film. Well, around 1 or 2 frames was worth to save. Oh, may this be one of the reasons why now everyone only do digital photography?
Still so happy that we have some spring signs in my city now, cheers :)

Kodak Ektar 100
I had this roll of Kodak Ektar 100 left to develop for several month. I think this is from august 2012.
I like the surprise moment when developing a film, with no memory about what's inside. Now I remember this Kayak activity with my work, we had a lot of fun.
I love the dynamics colours from the Kodak Ektar film, they may not be totally realistic, but very nice. It's like HDR-lomography. The negatives are scanned with my Canon CanoScan 9000F, very few adjustments done in PhotoShop. Enjoy!

Brunsparken, Gothenburg City
I've spend a lot of time this weekend developing film, in my kitchen, using C41 chemicals. Very interesting experience, I've discovered that the chemicals are not good for my skin. The results are quite good. This is Kodak Porta 160 ISO, using Rolleiflex 2.8F. Scanned with Canon CanoScan 9000F

Montevideo religiously loves carnival. “The whole year is a carnival”, so the saying goes, and it comes true amidst the serene beauty of the city’s bay. Momo, the carnival god, dwells there for more than forty days of varied festivities: the election of Queens and Princesses, parades and candombe drums calls, the Official Awards Competition and nightly performances by carnival ensembles on open stages scattered throughout the city. Different artistic genres display their shows there for public enjoyment: humourists, parodists, lubolos, revues, murgas. Along its restless course, the Montevidean carnival gave them all a unique, distinctive character.

Haga HDR
Yesterday there was a great photo-walk organized in my city, Gothenburg, Sweden.

This must be the first time I participate in a photo-walk with so much people. No need to say that it was a lot of fun. I can't wait until it happens again.

Bangkok Evening
This view is from the hotel window, where we was staying on our last trip to Thailand. Unwanted reflection effects and dirt may be an issue when taking photos from a window. From my own experiences here some few tips:
- Get as close as possible to the window
- Turn off all light sources in the room

Amazing Bangkok
This is in front of Central World, a lot of activity going on. All the wonderful beer-tents, are on the other side, not seen from this view.
This shot is a fusion of about 6 long exposures with tripod. Later masked together in PS to get all the colors from the water fountain. Enjoy!

Hua Hin Sunrise
It's kind of hard to wake up 5.30 in the morning to catch the sunrise, every part of my body was kind of against it, specially if you drink a little bit too much beer the night before. I really had to force my self to get up. But as soon I walked to the beach and started to see the sun slowly show up, the feeling is so amazing it's really worth it. Every bad feeling for getting up from sleep and headache is gone.
I believe I got many good shots this morning, this is one them. As usual this is a 3 exposure HDR, Photomatix and some cleanup in PS.
The best thing after after completing a mission like this, is to go back and sleep again :) cheers!

Hua Hin Sunset
Today has been the day Google+ introduced the community feature, and I've spend some time joining photographic communities.
There are two things for the moment that are really annoying with the communities feature:
1 - everything I post into a community also appears on my profile. This is really annoying, I would like to keep my profile clean, kind of the same thing also happens when posting something into to a event. Just really annoying.
2 - It's not possible to post photos from my current albums, I need to upload the photo again. It's possible to upload from instant upload. This just don't make sense.

Amazing Hua Hin
This is what I found on yesterday trip to a sheep-farm in Huan Hin, Thailand.
For this HDR I tried to do it a little bit different. Basically I just started to set the color temperature to max on all three exposures, and then move from there.

Full Moon
Full Moon on the beach at Hua-Hin, Thailand. A beautiful night just illuminated by the light of the moon. By the way, neither me or the camera did transform in anything strange.
This shot is just a long exposure on tripod, and some adjustments in PS and a touch of Nik Color Efex Pro.

Bangkok
Sometimes I spend so much time Photoshopping and start wondering what's left from the originals shots after applying so many filters, masks, etc.
This one was kind of a challenging one, it was taken from the hotel window. The window was thick and dirty, and I got all kind of reflections and unwanted things, and I just feel that too much time trying to clean it up (and it's still not perfect)
Anyway the view from the window was just amazing, I could not let it go.

Maybe still suffering some the jet-lag, because I wake up really early, which usually don't happen. But I think it was worth it, usually I never catch any sunrise.
