Not only has an untitled action-packed buddy cop show (set in the near future) from Abrams' Bad Robot been ordered by FOX... but
NBC has also ordered a drama pilot from Abrams about an unlikely relationship between a gifted young girl and a man sprung from prison who has been tasked with protecting her from the evil elements that hunt her power. Alfonso Cuaron (Harry Potter 3) penned the script and will serve as an Exec.Producer alongside Abrams and Bryan Burk.
