This is my old secondary school in Roscrea, The sacred heart convent, Airhill, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary ....This pic was taken in the 1920 's ....
It had a large library , chapel, gym and hall with stage....

One of the most iconic sites in Ireland, the Rock of Cashel.
Legend has it that the rock was formed by a furious devil who was enraged at the thought of losing souls to Christianity as the King of Munster prepared to meet St. Patrick. In his wrath he quickly flew over Ireland and, hindered by the Slieve Bloom Mountains, the devil took an enormous bite out of the peaks. After he reached the opposite side of the mountains, he spat out his stony mouthful and inadvertently formed the Rock of Cashel, which would go on to become one of Ireland's principal Christian sites.
The Rock of Cashel was formerly the seat of the Kings of Munster, it was given to the church in around 1101 AD by Muirchetach O'Brien. I bought this wonderful Tea loaf in Aldi, It's not bread, but a wonderful sticky calorific fruit cake...I'm indulging everyday but I'm head wrecked as I'm a calorie counter sooooooo ...I'm binging....eat the lot in one foul swoop ....have guilt overload then move on....
I think I have possibly manipulated this to suit myself .....

My recovery has been going really well....I have been working hard at the exercises the physio gave me for my lower back... just back from a strong run of 10km and I feel fantastic... Aside from a little dog chasing me, hailstones and a wee blister....it was perfect ... If there is a god , he is smiling on me :)))
