I'll have more information on this soon, but for now here's what I know about a vanilla HTC One coming to the US soon. 

I'm not totally sure how I feel about this. I'm pretty sure most of the things that I really like about the One rely on HTC's software.

So I started this petition based on my last post. Not sure how much good it will do, but I am willing to give anything a go. Feel free to sign it, share this post as much as you can and plus 1 this post. 

Even if you're a Samsung lover and user, choice is good for everyone and will only make your chosen device that much better, consider signing it as well. Let's see if we can get to the top of +HTC  with this. If we don't try who will?

impromptu editorial
So the interwebs are on fire with all the articles about the sinking of HTC and the “Exodus” of some it’s top officials. I am a new HTC user, after many many years with Samsung (and a brief stint with the One X). I am totally 100% in for the HTC One. I think it’s probably the best designed and executed Android smartphone out there (the Oppo Find 5 is very close). Even Sense 5 is hugely improved and Blinkfeed is actually handy and would be better with some minor tweaks. 

I’ve been posting all morning about my own interest in being a part of HTC to help turn the company around. In no way am I joking about that proposal. But realistically, I will probably not even get a glance from HTC or Peter Chou. But, I am hoping at least, someone who might have a connection to the higher rungs of HTC would at least pass along my thoughts to those that could fosterchange wit... more »

I think I'm going to be making nothing but +HTC posts today LOL

I love my One, totally in love with it. 
So why? Why would you, +HTC , partner with facebook to release a phone like the Facebook First?
Was it because you thought the millions of Facebook users would flock to the First and give you some revenue and more name recognition?
I would have advised against such a move and invested the millions you wasted into better positioning the HTC One. 

You HAVE something great RIGHT in front of your nose, in your hands in your pockets......SELL IT! Stop trying to ride coattails and step up to the stage, stick your chest out and show them what you got.

Hey there US Cellular customers (if there are any left). 
You should head over to Sprint and get moved over (if you want to stay with them). I sent my boss in today and he walked out with 

-activation fees waived
-credit for his old S3's
-credit for being a US Cell customer
-promotion discounts
-credit for being a member of a credit union
-monthly bill less than what he paid on US Cell

and he got 2 Galaxy S4's for $32 each. Not a bad deal...and yes I tried to get him into an HTC One but he didn't want to change from the Samsung UI he is used to. 

Please remember, your experience may vary this is only an example of what Sprint is offering US Cell customers

This song reminds me of my dad. He used to play this all the time EXACTLY like this.
His last days were spent in his bed not able to move. I used to go over and take my guitar. I would play this song and another in English that he totally was in love with (Farther Along).
He passed on quietly one night while I was there. 

I miss my dad.
