Macht Kunst - Deutsche Bank Kusthalle Berlin

Last weekend, there was an open call to all artists in Berlin to bring their art to the new Deutsche Bank Kunsthalle. The deal was, every piece will be shown as long as there is space on the walls. They were practically overrun and the space was full only after a few hours, so they decided to do another show with more space later in April - so that really every piece of art could be shown.

These two photos give a little overview of the two main rooms, covering the majority of the almost 400 pieces of the first 24 hour exhibition. In the second exhibition, there will be at least double the amount - one of them then will be mine.
So if you missed it today, come and get your art explosion on 28.04. at noon for 24 hours straight at Alte Münze Berlin. See you there!

Weihnachtsshopping-FAIL?

Wow, ich schaue ja immer mal wieder nach, ob das kleine Nexus 4 endlich wieder verfügbar ist, aber gerade könnte man meinen, die DDR-Verknappung ist wieder da.Alle Modelle außer dem Nexus 7 32GB (also auch alle Nexus 4 und Nexus 10) sind ausverkauft (Stand 12:26).

Ich weiß nicht, kommt es mir nur so vor oder hat sich Google mächtig verkalkuliert? Gerade vor Weihnachten war doch damit zu rechnen, dass die Teile wie geschnitten Brot weggehen.
Naja, irgendwie schon auch sympathisch, nachdem Apple ja jeden Scheiß vergolden möchte, scheint Google das Geld seiner (potentiellen) Kunden nicht zu wollen.

Dear Google+, here is my Community wish list:

I have been playing around with communities today, and while I like the general concept, there are a few things that I would love to have. Here is my wish list.

If you have anything to add, feel free to comment.

1. Let me decide if a post shall go to my profile when I post to a community. In most cases, I don't want that. It is annoying to me and all the people outside of the community as messages are often posted in a specific context that is lost outside the community. My profile is now full of unrelated stuff that will turn off visitors.

2. Introduce Sticky Posts - posts that stay at the top of the pile if a moderator marks them as sticky. This way, important housekeeping information can be kept at the top and I do not have to keep reposting stuff.

Google+ Communities (aka groups)

FINALLY, but… they should have been there from the beginning.
I always found it an essential feature for an interest based social network to have groups. Circles have always been a failure for interest based discussions, because nobody exclusively posts content of the single one topic I circled her/him for. I hope people now gather at the right communities to have their good interest based experience and hopefully the "super-exclusive-high-quality-but-everybody-can-join-if-you-follow-these-rules"-circle-spam vanishes (or at least gets reduced through this).

Let's see how the communities work out - hooray!

Wherever I’ve seen or posted a philosophical question, invariably someone will voice an opinion and/or offer links to books and other sources that expound on their opinion.  There’s nothing wrong with this approach as I’ve been introduced to many wonderful philosophers which only served to feed my philosophical hunger. However, it can make some people lazy to think, to really think. When someone thinks for themself, regardless of the learned subconscious influences, it somehow sets them apart. Like the wisdom from a child. Do you know what I mean?

Gerade muss ich mit Entsetzen feststellen, dass +Kristina Schröder  mich mit der Anzahl an Followern überholt hat. Wie konnte das nur geschehen? Wo hat sie die nur wieder eingekauft? Mit rechten Dingen kann das doch nicht zugehen - oder ist die Lobotomie wieder erlaubt?
