Power To The Poster Is Back!
I have questions, you have answers

Last year I launched a mini-posting series called Power to the Poster where I asked you questions about Google+. I'm relaunching this for the next month so that all of you can have a platform to share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. It'll come out every Wednesday and will be open for 24 hours.

If you are having a particular buggy issue that needs troubleshooting please contact the +Google+ Help page and our team will get right on it. You're also more than welcome to use the Send Feedback button on the left hand navigation (hint: it's at the bottom).

Uses for Wild Garlic?
There seems to be huge amounts of it this year, do you have any uses for it?

The "illusion" of knowledge may be in direct proportion to the actual availability of knowledge. In other words, we think we live in enlightened times because of our access to global information. But whether relying on the local newspaper or the internet, it is all a matter of how one thinks, what they are open to, what possibilities they will entertain, what voices they "shut down" and which they allow in. Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as Manchester United manager at the end of the season after 26 years in charge.
The Scot, 71, has won 38 trophies during his reign at Old Trafford and will now become a director and ambassador for the club.
His haul includes 13 league titles, two Champions League crowns, five FA Cups and four League Cups.
"The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about. It is the right time," Ferguson said.

Mute Profiles: Stop All Notifications From Google Plus Users To You

Go to a user's profile and click on the GEAR on their profile page, and then select "Mute ____". [Blank will be the user's name]

(You will stop receiving any tags/mention or direct share Google+ post notifications from the user.)

I also suggest you provide an alternate way for muted users to contact you for private messages like enabling email on our profile or providing an alternative email or website that has a contact form. 

On Mobile, click on the profile of a user and wait for it to load. Then click on MENU for your phone and then "MUTE" to mute the G+ user's profile from sending you notifications.

Calling all Wales based Photogs
* or those that want to travel to Wales

Google+ is soon to be 2 Years Old

+Joe Vallee is heading up the co-ordinating of photowalks to celebrate the event and I'm looking for someone to step up and organise one for the Wales area. I am happy to do so (I did Scott Kelby's 5th annual photo walk last October) but would prefer someone else do this and pick the location, times, etc, etc ....

The date is June 29th 2013 - time and location to be decided.

The linked graphic takes you to the G+ community with all the details of where walks have currently been setup plus a place to ask questions if you have any.

Motorcycle crashes into Bicycles
The snaking Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles County gloriously carves its way through picturesque hills, winding its way up the Santa Monica Mountains and on to the famous Hollywood signage.

It has featured in numerous films and is a regular hangout for petrolheads testing their car's handling prowess and bikers looking to 'get their knee down".

Cyclists also like to use the gruelling route but where there are leather-clad bikers and manic sports car drivers, there are inevitably accidents.

Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt!

Cumbria Police appeal for help to find missing teenager from Milnthorpe. 

Police in Kendal are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 14 year old boy who was last seen yesterday in Milnthorpe.

14 year old Shane Donnelly from Milnthorpe was last seen at around 7pm.

Shane is described as white, around 5ft 7in with spikey short ginger/light brown hair and a pale complexion. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark tracksuit bottoms and trainers with a stud in his left ear. He has a broad Scottish accent.

It is believed that he may be trying to get to Scotland or Birmingham area via train.

Police are concerned for his welfare due to his age and the fact he has little money with him.

Indeed, I was born in Gwynedd, North Wales, but I have lived less than half my life in Wales and most of my adult life has been spent elsewhere. Who on earth thought it was ok to make it in the first place?
"Car maker Hyundai has apologised and pulled an online advert that depicted a man attempting to kill himself with exhaust fumes in its new model.
Hyundai said it "sincerely apologises for the offensive viral video".

The advert, advertising the car's "100% water emissions", has attracted complaints on social media sites.

Holly Brockwell, whose father killed himself inside a car in 1990, blogged about how she had felt "empty" and "sick" on seeing the advert.
