Vũ Phá1,285 STOP!! Before you share this circle please read everything detailed below:This is the newest release of my #topengagers  circle.  This week I wanted to give this circle a SERIOUS overhaul. So I deleted it. Then, I started with the adding back the core G+'ers of this circle (if you don't know who they are start engaging more!!) and I then added in those who shared the circle previously and whose posts were high quality.  I am sure some have slipped through the cracks, so if that is you please do not be offended, but be certain to get in touch with me. This circle is the result of the overhaul.  Add this circle only if you are interested in great content, great engagers and helping make G+ a better, more social place.  To Be Included Next Time1. Frank Gainsford19,949A shared circle of people involved in online marketing with a focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and related issues of being found in search engines.   Most in this circle are knowledgeable and are willing to help new entrants to the online marketing industry. Many have their own blogs and some run both pages and communities that support online marketing and share expertise on how to interact with your customer base through social media and related marketing efforts. These folks are the ones I rely one to help me out when I have any issues that I can not immediately resolve my self, and many of those within this circle are very active within the HOA (Hangout On Air) sector where they have regular talk shows and interact directly with the public discussing online marketing and related issues that impact on your online visibility and online reputation. This is not an opt in circle and  the only way to get in is to engage with me directly on a post of mine or if I have engaged directly with you and discussed online marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) or +fufismSome of the folk in this circle discuss the psychological aspects of marketing and related personal interaction and engagement factors, including social networking both online and IRL (IN REAL LIFE) and are not directly involved in SEO  or marketing, but that does not make them any less important within the online marketing industry as these aspects are often over looked and not well managed by most online  marketing professionals. So at the end of the day you will find an awful lot of use for the information flow that comes out of the collective stream of this elite group of active Googlers.2014-02-09 07:10:11122337CC G+

Ian Tang0Google+ is the best Internet destination to intimately connect with the people you care about most. But, it's also a place to share just things with the right people, just like in real-life. Not only can you keep up with your friends, but also with the companies you love, without ruining either experience. The products and services each of us daily come from some amazing companies. The Internet has provided new ways to interact with the creators of the many things we rely on. Yvan Da Silva4,840Hi everyone,As many of you already know, I have a nice circle called "ReadThis", the name says it all. From time to time I go check what that circle is doing because I know they do great posts, have absolutely brilliant minds and have caught my attention at a moment or another. You don't have to do anything special to get in, this circle is in constant movement. People get in, some people get out etc. Depending on their posts, comments and activity. If you are new to Google+ then this is definitively a circle you might consider. You do not have to add them all, you can actually select which people you want to follow! Hope it will help you find great people.Happy Friday everyone ! #followfriday   #followfridaycircle   #sharedcircles   #sharedpubliccircles   #circleshare   #circlesharing  2012-11-09 16:53:45199303CC G+

Yvan Da Silva4,568From time to time, I like to share my "Read this" circle. Some of you might know how this circle works in particular already so start checking it if it's the case ( ^ _ ^ )//.So what is this circle ?People gets in and out depending on their posts. They have no real point in common except one, I enjoy reading what they say. Most of the people in this circle have been in there since the beginning of it.Why ? Because they are AwEsOmE people ! I am  not saying you should check their profiles and posts, but YES you must check them out!Now that is said, enjoy. Don't get frustrated if you are not in anymore or if you would like to be in.You really can get in my circles easily, be friendly, complete your profile, do nice posts comment on others people post and for sure you'll get in as soon as I see something that I like about you :D This circle is made only and only on my own biased judgment so be indulgentI love you all, I just don't always have the time to read everything :( Big hugs to you all ! Today we are pleased to announce the launch of Google Educator Groups (GEG),  a program supporting communities of educators who learn, share, and inspire each other to meet the needs of their students through technology solutions, both in the classroom and beyond. GEG empowers educators around the world to expand their social and professional networks, and gain skills to deliver the best possible education through open technology.

GEG takes place both online and offline, and provides a space for educators to build relationships, collaborate, and learn through Google+ communities and hangouts or in-person events and workshops. Whether you’re a teacher, professor, or principal, anyone is welcome to join GEG to learn. Each group is organized by a local volunteer (GEG leader) and is entirely independent from Google.

"Google+ is loaded with plenty of useful tools. One of the tools is Circles. I use my Circles to categorize all of my email addresses. For example, every time I get an email from someone who goes to my school, I add their email address to my SFSU (San Francisco State University) Circle. I have a “Professor” Circle, too, where I add all of my professors. Circles allows me to quickly and easily find the contacts I need. Another added bonus is Google Hangouts integration. I’ve shown professors how to do virtual office hours. This has been extremely beneficial, especially for online classes. Also, it is one of the best ways to collaborate on group projects. I helped a friend of mine on a coding project and we were able to get his website up and running within a couple of hours; all from the comfort of my own home!"

We enjoyed 50 minutes of brainstorming, hard decision making, amazing creativity and great teamwork. We ended the day at a Thai restaurant. The food was great - we sat, talked, laughed, told stories and it was the best way to close such a productive day. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s hackathon.'___

'Wow what a day! We arrived at the office and with no further introduction, we were thrown into the depths of Android programming: ListViews, fragments, menus, networking and so on. It seemed crazy, but we got through it. The sessions are constructed in a way that allows us to study a certain subject and practice it immediately afterwards. It allows us to better understand and absorb the information more quickly.

We also had a nice tour of the office which showed how much Google cares for its employees and their well-being. The engineers we met discussed various roles in engineering (e.g. Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering), provided insights into the company’s culture, andsh... more »

After such a fun-filled day, Google’s own sushi-master taught us how to roll sushi on our own. How awesome is that?

Can't wait to see what's coming up, seems like the best is yet to come :-)'___

On day 1 of Android Camp, the students were introduced to Android development, identified their work style preference, and explored London by night. Take a look at Oana’s impressions:

“The first day came with a few surprises, starting in the morning when we arrived at Google’s London office and bags full of goodies were waiting for us. The introductory lecture about Android and its user interface showed how easy and fun it actually is to write an app. After playing a little with the first apps we created, we took a personality test and got to know one another better.

In the evening we participated in a Scavenger Hunt, which was really fun. It was a good opportunity for team Victoria to bond and laugh (the guys in my team are really creative when it comes to taking photos). Then we admired the beautiful city of London from the London Eye. The last stop was an English pub, where w... more »

Google European Android Camp 2014 has kicked off in London! We have a week full of activities which started with a welcome reception on Sunday to give our Campers a chance to get to know one another.

You can get to know our Campers throughout the week as well. We’ll be sharing their first-hand stories each day this week to give you a glimpse into some of the exciting events happening here on the ground, starting with some first impressions from Anna:

“2 a.m., St. Petersburg, Russia. Alarm rings. I'm so excited , I didn't sleep at all. Time to go! Pulkovo airport, Vienna, and finally….London Heathrow. “2 a.m., St. Petersburg, Russia. Alarm rings. I'm so excited , I didn't sleep at all. Time to go! Pulkovo airport, Vienna, and finally….London Heathrow. Android Camp promises to be the most exciting week ever. The first day was amazing -- I met my roommate in the morning, walked around town and attended the Camp’s welcome dinner. It was really great to meet the other campers and organizers -- we are all so different but similar at the same time. Some of us like to dance while others enjoy tennis. Some enjoy wine, play musical instruments (7 in total) and a couple of us even like physics (seriously, why not?). It was so great to listen to campers as they shared a little about themselves. As I listened, I thought “Hey, are you sure that you are not talking about me? That's me, I share this interest too!”

What else is important -- there are a lot of girls at camp. We get used to the stereotype that a developer is a man, but not necessarily. I already met a surprisingly big number of brilliant female computer scientists at Android Camp. Another important and interesting part was our team's discussion on how we will build the Android app. Good luck to all teams -- Victoria, Friendly Folks, Food Fighters, Chocolate Penguins, and Appchee! Can’t wait for tomorrow morning!”___
