Entgegen der Meinung es wäre unmöglich, alle Kommentare und Vorschläge auszuwerten, hier der Gegenbeweis: da viel mehr Empfehlungen als erwartet kamen, habe ich einfach alle in diesem Kreis zusammengefasst. Ich hoffe, dass ich trotzdem niemanden vergessen habe.

Es ging dabei nur darum, neue Empfehlungen zu finden und es nicht um einen Wettbewerb. Viel Spaß!

Young African Wildcat
Late in the evening in the Masai Mara! We were driving fast on the way back to our camp in Talek. Suddenly I saw those beautiful eyes shine out of the bush. Who belonged these bright eyes? We put the car in reverse, but were not confident it to be found again. But it sat in the same place. A young African Wildcat, what a luck!! :)

Pretty cool feature of sharing circles, love it!
I have "Photographers" circle, there are more that 2000 people there... creative and talented pro and amateur photographers.

But my favorite circle the one named "10", and this is what I've just shared.
I've created this circle with intention to have 10 best photographers (I judge by looking at portfolio, not at number of followers) in it.
Those who will always inspire me and I can share their posts: whatever I re-share from their stream will be interesting for my stream readers.

Apparently, 10 was not enough, and now I have 21 people here, and it is growing.. Feel free suggest me those who you like and share :-)

Interactive People on G+: Part Two

The other day I asked people who they thought was the most interactive person they have found on G+ and since then I have gotten around 1,000 responses and more than 1,000 people have been suggested. Since people from many different communities responded I ended up with a sampling of people from across a lot of the G+ world. There was interest in having a circle created of the people nominated in my threads and this is the second circle I have produced. There are still more nominations to go through and this is a testament to the community here on G+! Once I'm done working through more nominations I will have another circle ready to share. Interactive People on G+: Part One

Yesterday I asked people who they thought was the most interactive person they have found on G+ and I got a lot of responses. Since people from many different communities responded I ended up with a sampling of people from across a lot of the G+ world. Deep into the Jungle Mists...

I was many kilometers down this river away from the town. I got off my little boat to do some hiking up through the hills through the jungle. It was dense. Even when there was a little opening, it still felt like leaves and vines were pressing in on me. On occasion, I would see a wider break that let me see into the mysterious beyond.

A Roll Cloud Over Uruguay

What kind of cloud is this? A roll cloud. These rare long clouds may form near advancing cold fronts. In particular, a downdraft from an advancing storm front can cause moist warm air to rise, cool below its dew point, and so form a cloud. When this happens uniformly along an extended front, a roll cloud may form. Roll clouds may actually have air circulating along the long horizontal axis of the cloud. A roll cloud is not thought to be able to morph into a tornado. Unlike a similar shelf cloud, a roll cloud, a type of Arcus cloud, is completely detached from their parent cumulonimbus cloud.

I headed out storm chasing with Adrian Wayte today, we covered a fair bit of ground to try and get right in front of the storm front.. we managed to find a good vantage point right in front of the storm.. Adrian is going to hate me for this shot, I had no idea I'd even captured a lightning bolt.. I was just firing off a few frames as the storm caught up to us!

Montana de Oro is a state park on the central coast of California that, in my opinion, doesn't get enough recognition. This was shot in early 2011 in my beginning photography days. I remember being attracted to this S-curve in the rocks and continually coming back to this location to shoot. I'm looking forward to going back this year with a little more knowledge to capture the lines in these beautiful rock formations.
