A friend, Leslie is heading to her neurological doctor to get a new report on the status of MS she has been fighting.  We are praying for complete healing and deliverance from the lesions on her brain and spinal cord.  She has been doing remarkably well over the past month, walking very well, not wearing sunglasses in door lighting, and a cataract that has shrunk and did not need surgery.
 
She is going in for an MRI today and we are trusting God for a good report!  We give God all the praise and glory for He watches over His children.  He has provided everything we need for health and provision in this life.  He gave us life and gave us His Son for health, reconciliation, redemption, and all sufficiency for here and now.

Urgent prayer request for my old friend Prime Minister Netanyahu

My long-time friend Benjamin Netanyahu has not yet succeeded in putting together a coalition government. He must form a group that comprises a majority in the 120-member Knesset. This is proving extremely difficult in the deeply divided body. He is asking Israel’s President Shimon Peres for an extension of up to two weeks.

The real battle being fought is a spirit war. Israel’s election was held on January 22 of this year. The prime minister’s party won 31 seats, but something else very important happened within that same twenty-four hour period of time: President Barack Obama was sworn in for his second term in office.

Morning appointment:
Audiologist and Speech therapist (plus a university student that followed us around to every appt. to be Liam's 'friend' and help us out).

The audiologist 'tweeked' Liam's current mapping on his implant/ear and he imitated, on at least 3 different occasions, sounds the speech therapist was working on him with! Huge! We haven't had him notice sound in a long time. As we all agree that the implant is not working how it should (because of the insertion) it's great he was paying attention to... more »

Ricky, a man that has been diagnosed with tumor/mass on his brain, needs immediate prayer,

Ricky has just given his heart to the Lord & wants to spend the rest of his life serving Abba Father, Yaweh, Holy Spirit,

Hi All-

Little Grace, the 8 year old in NJ, just got word that she will need to have a bone marrow transplant.  Her brothers will be tested next week for a possible match.  Her mother is pregnant and due in March ( the MD thinks she will deliver early).  Your prayers for her and the family are appreciated.

Carolyn in TN has had her mastectomy and all went well.  We are awaiting the pathology on the lymph nodes but the MD is very optimistic about them being clear.  Prayers for her and her family are appreciated.

About 5 or 6 years ago on Easter Sunday morning, I walked into church and heard a voice.

"Oh, Happy Day!"

A majestic, powerful voice bursting with joyful soul. It takes your breath away. Stopped me in my tracks. Brought me to the verge of tears. I looked up at the stage and thought, "Whoa! Who is THAT?!"

A perfect introduction to my friend Rachel. Since that day I've come to know the person behind that voice. And I now know that the power and beauty in her awe-inspiring voice is sourced by something powerful and beautiful deep inside. It comes from the very depth of her beautiful soul.

And she has let that bright light shine...

Rachel has worked as a vocal coach, encouraging kids and adults on their musical journey. Rachel has sung arias with operas and symphony orchestras.

Alin and Michelle Neamtu (Pastors in Louisville, KY) have been close friends of ours for years and Michelle was Kathy's roommate years ago. Alin's parents live in AZ and moved to the U.S. because of the religious oppression in Romania.  Before moving to America, "The Land of the Free" - Alin's father was put in jail for years for preaching the Gospel in Romania. Now, his son is being tried today in Tempe, AZ for preaching the Gospel on a side walk within city limits.

We cannot even approach the presence of God without God having granted us His permission.

As the Sovereign, all-holy God, His permission is what enables us to serve Him acceptably.

There is a difference between worship and the expression of worship.

God has always told man how He wants man to worship Him.

The way that worship was expressed during the time prior to Mt. Sinai was different from the way Israel expressed worship after Mt. Sinai.

The way that worship was expressed during the time prior to Pentecost was different from the way the redeemed express worship after Pentecost.

God has instructed us as to how He wants us to express our worship. We must express our worship to Him in accordance with His permission.

Worship and who and what you worship is a product of many things that are contained within each of us.  Your worship style can be affected your earlier social and religious culture and the environment where you've grown up.  Worship as a form or as a religious ritual is also related to your age and peer group. Each person's form of worship can also be related to where you were educated as well as your perception of your economic status; not your economic status today, but where you see yourself in relation to God and your denomination.

USA Election Question: 

Some may be wondering why the election went the way it did... 
God is not moved by the hearts of mankind.  He is not surprised
